They gave me readers but I asked that they give me a prescription to reflect only readers and she would not do it. Now, I have to take more time off from work to go back to get the script. I have only had these glasses a few days and the lens have popped out several times. Very dissatisfied with the manager

Second time
The four is only because it took two attempts to get my prescription correct. Other than that they get a five. Both times the glasses came in before date promised.

Staff is WONDERFUL
It was easy to get an appointment, even pretty far out. The shop is clean and well lit, plenty of places to sit and lots of glasses to look at. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and happy to help me make my own choices. Been here for the past decade to get my eyes checked and I'll be back. Wonderful customer service and an inviting atmosphere.

First few times i was a customer i got a fair deal without me acting like i would walk out due to a 300 percent increase in price. finally got price down to where it was last time. Should not pay employees commission.

Factory lenses disappeared!
I dislike the fact that my original lenses went missing during the process. I was pre advised that Stanton Optical wouldn't be responsible for my eye glass frames in the event that anything happened to them during the process fortunately for me I guess nothing went wrong with my frames 😅 . After receiving original prescription lenses they needed to be adjusted to accommodate my bifocal parameters.

Overprice > quality
Price has almost doubled to the point that it is not worth going to Stanton anymore.
It used to be that I can get an eye exam and two pairs of glasses at a buy one get one. And receive them the same day!!
Now it's still buy one get one, but the price for the exact frames & lenses I have been purchasing for years has basically doubled. So now it doesn't make sense. And it takes over a week to get your order. I could purchase brand name frames with higher quality for the same price point. With the same wait time.
Oh well times are changing I guess...

I will say, the staff was/is friendly as always.
