My first order came fast

My first order came fast, but my prescription was filled wrong did a correction company still made them wrong and have to be sent back for a second time. All in all I will be waiting a total month for glasses, with no compensation.

Bad experience

Expensive, understaffed, sales oriented. One person working across multiple days, when another staff member was actually present they were borderline rude.

Had issues, but very happy!

We ran into a few problems with my prescription, which was written by another optometrist, not Stanton. Lori took care of the issues and made it right in a very professional manner. She saved the day! In the end, the glasses were great. Thanks Lori!

They got my classes wrong the first…

They got my glasses wrong the first time and they sent them back out and they still came back wrong I just took the glasses anyways and chose not to go back to that shop for glasses every again

Will NEVER return & telling everyone to avoid your business

Your sales representative is incompetent in what he has been hired to do. I was not informed that my insurance was NOT in network, led me to believe it was. Clearly for a sales commission or something. I also didn't receive the promotional offer of BOGO, when the frames I selected BOTH qualified for it. I spent $241 for ONE pair of glasses when my insurance covers up to $150 of my visit. I am not supposed to pay for the exam either and was charged for that a discounted rate. Completely unacceptable. I will never return and have already told everyone I know to not do business with your company.

It was very different

It was very different. Felt bad that the store manager was there alone to help me as well as everyone who walked in. The 2 for $79 ad is extremely misleading & even when I was told I couldn’t see the get 2 for $135 due to needing bifocals wasn’t true. With all the add ons it came to $500. I’m on a fixed income with no 1 in the area to take my insurance. I did get a pair tho & I honestly love them.

Exam was performed & glasses ordered but why?

Glasses were ordered, but told the optometrist or person giving me the eye exam that I was experiencing double vision but did the exam anyways. Before receiving the glasses the first set of glasses I called and ask for both glasses to add transition lenses but only received one pair with transitions and the other without when I was told that the extra money I paid was for both pairs. Additionally after receiving the 1st pair I had to wait for the 2nd pair plus the woman stated that because I was still experiencing double vision with the glasses that I'd have to see an ophthalmologist. When I received the 2nd par the person who told me to see the ophthalmologist I told her that I'm still seeing the ophthalmologist and my eye sight was still not right and she said well at least you can use the transition lenses to block out the sun. The ophthalmologist said that I shouldn't have gotten glasses without the proper diagnosis of what was going on with my vision. I feel that all I was just another sale for Stanton Optical and that my best interest were not involved in the decision to go and perform the exam and order the glasses. Currently still not able to use the glasses because the ophthalmologist is still trying to determine what is wrong with my vision.

Frustrated

After 2 months, I still do not have my glasses. Again the lenses are incorrect. I believe that now the manager is helping me. She seems to be more knowledgeable, however the "rush" is still 2 to 3 weeks. In the past, this has been the place I relied on. Not so much anymore. If you have a new employee, everything should be completely double checked so that the order comes back correct. Each time I have to come back, it's an hour to Peoria and an hour back home. Not to mention the gas usage.

The glasses that I

The glasses that I. received are very nice and seem to be well made. time will tell. the case is very cheap and I only received one I purchased three sets one being sunglasses. My iteractions with the personal was very positive with one exception it was a female in her twenties and very snarky to say the least, she acted like she was doing me a favor just waiting on me. I was surprised that they screwed up my order from the get go! First they could not do my prescription I had to go to another supplier to get that, the time Frame that was advertise was two days as understood it; it took two weeks. Secondly when I placed the order it was for two pair of regular vision and one pair of sunglasses, this was handled by the snarky young lady! To make all things correct in addition to the $300 plus I had already spent I had to spend a additional $120+ to get the second set of regular vision glasses all of which was advertised for $79.00 that did not include the sunglasses all of these were to include free frame which are very nice. All in all I am giving you three stars which I feel is more than gracious. For a new store that is running T.V. commercials to generate foot traffic to boost sales they need two do some serious work on their customer service. Not to mention waiting for more than hour to be waited on when there was know body in the store!

Was never told i wouldnt be seeing a dr…

Was never told i wouldnt be seeing a dr until i was half way through exam. Also people at store was not friendly anf seemed to hate being there. Had to call nimerous times cause i would get conflicting text messages about my glasses
