Great walk-in experience to great good looking glasses
We drove by to talk to someone and 1 1/2 hours later I walked out with ordering the glasses I wantyed. It took 1/2 an hour of waiting to get my eyes checked. The eye doctor was great. Everyone was very helpful. The only downside I would say is they need comfortable chairs in the waiting area. The chairs they had were very uncomfortable and when you sit there for 1/2 an hour it would be nice to sit on something comfortable. Glasses came in in 2 weeks and were perfect. I have another pair that I am going to have them convert to sunglasses. Thank you Stanton Optical.

I had to return several times for my…
I had to return several times for my glasses. I was promised to receive them December 26, 2025; they were not ready (I received then in February). I came back again a couple of weeks later - only one was available. That one did not have the correct prescription; I told the manager it wasn't correct and he kept telling me I just had to get used to them. I returned a few days later; only one was available again! It still did not have the correct prescription. Besides that, the lense had a scratch on it! I returned again after a few days and they said I should get an appointment with one of their doctors. I came back for the appointment and the doctor said my prescription was NOT correct. This was something I had been telling their staff during my multiple visits! The doctor wrote me another prescription and had to return after a couple of weeks to get the two pairs of glasses I ordered! Very poor customer service! I needed glasses immediately because my previous glasses had a cracked lense. I ordered my previous glasses from the Stanton Optical Shop in Santee - their customer service was 100% better than the La Mesa Shop! Very inconvenient especially when I was counting on getting my glasses before I went on vacation (I had to make do with my cracked glasses)! I did not get compensated for the multiple times I had to return or for the huge delay in getting my glasses! I am very disappointed with Stanton. I will not get glasses from them again nor would I recommend them.
