The eye testing lady was very precise and made sure each test was done correctly. If there was any problem at all with my new glasses they made sure they were completely corrected to my preference. I would definitely recommend Stanton for quality products and costumer service.

I think Feb 25th is I first came in to store. I wanted to keep my frames just new lenses. Long story changing lenses one was dropped and chipped it. So with my frames it wouldn't stay in frame. Somehow new lenses wouldn't stay in my old frames so had to start over new lenses and frame. I appreciate that there was no charge to me to replace new glasses but now I'm not sure I like the frames I ended up with. I might see what 30 day satisfaction policy is. It took a month to get new glasses and the old pair of glasses gave me problems

LAME experience

I made an appointment for a new glasses prescription looking at convenience of being seen, service time advertised as "same-day" glasses and the BOGO deal. There was one sales floor person, apologetically greeting customers with "sorry, I'm in by myself, short staffed". I completed the eye health questionnaire on their tablet and was directed to the back of the store to the tech for the initial screening. While trying to scan my current glasses with the machine, she said repeatedly "Oh, Lord, this thing isn't working as usual", then placed my glasses on the desk to "try later because the things glitching". The first test "kept clicking, which means you have something wrong with your eyes". Well, that's kind of why I wear glasses. The 2nd test, glaucoma screen went fine. The 3rd test was retinal imaging that "didn't take" after several attempts. Pause, now, as she needs to go take another customer out of the exam room. I'm sitting, patiently, basically blind without my glasses, but notice she picks my current pair up from the desk and hands them to the departing customer. When she returns, she looks frantically for my glasses because she just had them and was going to retry the scanning. When I told her she'd handed them to the exiting customer, she said she had not and continued tapping on the desk and looking around. Finally, after a second mention that they were handed out, she went to the front of the store where the woman, in fact, had realized the error and was walking back with them. I've not even reached the part that blew my mind. It's a virtual exam viewed in a screen with someone in a call center with other people chatter in the background. The tech swung the machine in front of my face and the virtual exam began. The "doctor" (I believe he said his name was Jared) started his spiel and even when my answers weren't what he wanted he continued to drone his scripted lines. When the viewing lenses were fogged and I literally could not see the letters presented, I asked to stop and leaned back from the viewing machine, he didn't skip a beat, kept asking "is 1 or 2 clearer"? Neither, I'm not even looking through the lenses. "No problem, your prescription is being printed". Lamest thing I've ever been scammed into thinking was an eye exam in my whole life. The tech said something about some people just don't like new technology. I'm all for properly used technology, but this was bogus. The tech also said something about not seeing any better with a new prescription. Great. I went in knowing my prescription would be higher and expecting a higher cost to cover that, but did not expect a BOGO $79 with free eye exam to tally up to over $450. Same day glasses, not really in the realm of happening for even single vision/ simple glasses, and now I wait a couple of weeks and hope that besides learning a costly lesson, I'll be able to see after the questionable exam. My advice: research deep before falling for something like this.
