I had the pleasure of having my yearly eye exam at Stanton Optical on Michigan Road. I am a first time Stanton customer.
The atomosphere, nice smelling aroma, and the pleasant, engaging staff (Cody and Emily), were the highlights of my visit and constantly stood out for me as positives that I reflected on throughout my visit.
I took away one star due to not being informed at the time of online scheduling that it would be a virtual eye exam. Given the choice, I would have chosen an in-person optometrist. I understand if an optometrist is on site a limited number of days a week but I should have been informed of those days so I could choose and plan my appointment accordingly. Consumers should be able to make informed decisions especially when it involves medical choices. The decision was made for me which was disappointing. Please note that I was offered the opportunity to return and receive services from the optometrist on staff if I was dissatisfied with my prescription. This experience is just a forewarning to know what you're scheduling. I would gladly reutilize the Michigan Road Stanton but I would just schedule my appointment for an in-person optometrist. The virtual exam does not negate the overall quality service I received at Stanton. Emily was a great facilitator for the eye exam- pleasant, patient, and engaging. Cody and Emily- thank you very much for helping me choose the right frame and making my experience so pleasant.

I Can See!
This place is so pristine, and the set up is very professional, but welcoming. Emily, one of the technicians was so nice. I mean like the nice that you think doesn't exist anymore. And the price is right. I was in, and out, and received my glasses the same day. Stanton is my go to place for my optical care, now that I need it.

I will be returning wonderful people!
I went to Stanton got eye exam it was way different.they sent me to another Stanton with a real dr.she was amazing my eyes had changed drastically I have just been diagnosed with diabetes.She explained everything.Then the office individuals were amazing they knew I had a job interview went out of there way to get me out the door quickly I was far away from home. I made it to my interview on time! Cody was outstanding!

Nice staff/issues
Super nice staff, but I went for the 2 for $79.99 and they told me that my prescription doesn’t qualify for that (literally never heard of that) my prescription isn’t super complex it’s a standard prescription. Return/refund process was super easy. Also you don’t see a doctor it’s virtual. My prescription was also wrong, I couldn’t see out of the glasses which is why I returned them.

Great first time experience
First time using Stanton. Ordered sunglasses using an existing prescription but lenses came in too light. Vision through the lenses was fine. Worked with Zoe who understood the issue and reordered darker lenses for me with no problem whatsoever. New lenses came in about 5 days ahead of promised date and were promptly replaced into the prior frame. Everything worked out great. Appreciate their willingness to work with me on the issue.
