The platform was excellent when rolled out, but over the past two years, service is non-existent and updates are no longer being made to the web dev portal. Zero client fulfillment on the part of Standout Digital. Some promises of continuity were made and a partner purchase via Starfish had been forthcoming, however, no developments and the company has abandoned this business model in pursuit of a new game, ai training. Run for your life, do not be tempted by the price point, you will get shafted and your client base will suffer.

SCAM BUYER BEWARE | STANDOUT Digital has website designer I have used for years. When I created another site all of a sudden my SSL is no longer working on all me sites. There is a Feature that you can Desktop Preview the site before publishing. you can no longer get support for any Web Design questions. I have a ticket in for 3 weeks and still no replay. MAJOR FAIL and they are trying to sell AI Marketing Stuff. BUYER BEWARE if they can support their services now how are they going to support AI.. Scam. When you purchased several years ago it was no refund under the guise that digital products are not ideal refundable products. Now that it has been proven this was a cash grab, it should have been obvious why they didn't offer a warranty, guarantee, or refund policy.

They literally tell you you purchased from a fake company selling their product but its impossible for a 4th party to be a reseller of this 3rd part whitelabel company standout.digital.

I signup for a lifetime membership in 2021, and after I created two websites without any article, I Put them on hold.

Recently, I have been back, wanting to revamp my website, and I found out I can't log in; my data is no more in their system, contact them through the chat function, no reply after 24 hours.

Their sales/marketing people totally misled me about the functionality, claiming it did things it did not.
When I complained about this, they denied that the conversation took place.

There is no way to test it out or even view the templates prior to making a purchase, now I know why.

They have a no refunds policy, unsurprisingly, because they know that people will be disappointed and want their money back.

The editor and functionality is very basic indeed, not really intuitive to use and very lacking in features or integrations. They compare it to other website builders like Wix, Weebly, Squarespace etc, but there really is no comparison.

It is good only for very basic and simple websites.

Sadly I have to say that it feels like a giant money grab to get as money out of people with a too good to be true deal.

I don;t know how the business model is sustainable with no recurring income to pay for the hosting, bandwidth etc.
I have the feeling that after they have milked this for all it is worth, the whole thing will go bust and shut down, or get sold off to someone else.

I hope I am wrong.

They also moderate all support requests on their facebook group. So far every single question I have posted has been rejected.

The facebook support is also quite rude and arrogant and likes to just twist your words and tell lies, and if you disagree with them, they ban you.

I've built about 25 websites using Standout. The negative reviews are mostly accurate. Support replies come days later, and rarely offer a solution. The sites are responsive, unless you use iFrames, or ANY custom HTML code. In that case, the webpage just randomly centers ALL text, even text formatted in an HTML page builder. They know about this, but dev team is obviously lounging on a beach, long finished supporting this. The menu builder is a farce. You CAN build responsive sites (just stay away from ANYTHING customized) and those who say Wix is better are mostly right. (Wix sites NOT responsive. Built in 2006 and STILL not?) As for Standout? Every time I log in, I cross my fingers that they still exist...

Easy to use, one off payment meaning there's no monthly or annual fees and can use it to create multiple websites for multiple domains makes it exceptional value for money.

The website builder has not been updated in forever, feels more like a scam than anything... HTTPS is not even the default.

Bought a course with them. I was told it was beginner-friendly. Attended one session and realized that it was not for me. Tried to get a refund as they had a "No question asked" return policy for the first 10 days. Guess what they said? I had to complete the course and apply to get results. If I still did not get it. They would refund my money. So I already know that they do not mean what they say/promise. The guy taking our sessions even threatened to remove me from Slack (the application they use to communicate).
Since they refused to return my money, I decided to go forward with the course.
I am still waiting on the rest of the sessions/course which I have raised inquiries about but to no avail.
Karma is real and they have it coming. Looting people with false promises!

Standout are scammers. They just take your money and ignore you if you complain.

Extremely clunky and inflexible builder. Changes the colour of my images when I upload them. Asked for a refund straight away and they just directed me to their "no refund" policy. I'm assuming they don't have allow refunds because they know they are falsely advertising this and a lot of people want their money back.

This hosting is not what they say in their ads. The web builder is so limited that even using a blank to start you can't add what you want where you want it. Tech support is the worst I've seen. They take so long to respond and usually just refer you to a FAQ or tutorial, which doesn't help at all unless you know the terminology. Definitely not for the novice. I used it for one day, barely, got frustrated at the lack of support, and discovered they have a no refund policy, even for less than 24 hours of "use" which consisted of trying to use the builder and trying to contact tech support for help which never came. I moved on out of frustration and found an excellent web host with REAL tech support. I DO NOT recommend this hosting service unless you are already an expert and have limited needs on your website building.

STANDOUT's website builder is really simple to use! It has a lot of templates as well as pictures that I can use to design my own website! Would totally recommend this! Definitely a 💯✨

The balls of them comparing themselves to Wix. Oh my god. This is a complete waste of time. You can't move things, you can only change the text or picture. It's a freaking handicap of a web builder. And $98! Waste my money. This is like going into a boxing match with Wix with both hands and feet tied up plus 3 layers of blindfolds. Damn scam. I wished I had read the reviews before buying. Now I can't get my money back.

I would give zero stars if it was possible. The support claims "a few hours" when in reality it's "a few days" and they never fix the problem but come up with excuses.

Save your $97 and go elsewhere.

You have no control over basic layout when in responsive mode and cannot even delete some sections without their interaction which as I said above could take days before they get back to you.

Complete waste of money.

STANDOUT DIGITAL is a complete scam. They took my $97 out of my bank account and I never got the secret "password" email they supposedly sent. I spent 3 days on "chat" for 8 hours, 13 hours with "No Response" until finally they just don't answer you - because they have their $97 and thousands of others as well. They claimed to never have my email in their database, but they still email me to this day calling me a member. I reported it to my bank, and it's legit as far as they are concerned because I signed up for it. DO NOT sign up for their crap. They are a FULL BLOWN SCAM whose only function is to take your money. There is no tech support or chat. You can thank me later.

This is a scam, they say you can make professional web pages within minutes, but their platform is very limited and have a lot of bugs. Which would be understandable, if the support was not terrible. They also say they have support 24/7 when in reality is 1/3 (one hour each day, 3 days a week). Moreover, you will get a response that makes sense and help to solve your problem just if you are lucky enough. But if you are not lucky enough they will just reply "Sorry, I will check with the team and go back to you asap" infinity times for the same problem. If you dare to ask for updates a week later, they will just ask the same questions they asked the week before, and they will be finished with guess what "Sorry, I will check with the team and go back to you asap". They are cheap, but there are several other platforms that are much better for a few dollars extra.

I could not leave a 0 for them. They have a no refund policy. There is not support only via chat. Also when you sign up you are going to get bombarded with sales emails. If you have a legitimate company dont switch to them for your website builder.

No support and poor optimization. A small thing like undo button doesn't work properly. Its just a white label builder of Im creator. Dont waste your money and go for something better
