this has to be the worst company I’ve…

this has to be the worst company I’ve ever had to deal With they really are bad news I’ve just drew pensions Out For Hundreds of thousands through other insurance Companies With no problems whatsoever. Standard life only owe me A few hundred pounds And it’s now taken nearly 2 Months and I still haven’t received my money they don’t seem to know what they are doing. Telephone staff Have no idea what they are doing it’s just a joke trying to communicate and get them to understand i just want paying what is mine I’m now 66 a pensioner and you really don’t need this from an insurance company when it’s time to pay you up if you’re thinking of taking Insurance out for a long-term I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere because when you come to collecting it, you will find it very difficult and it’s just what you don’t need when you’ve retired.
They just keep saying you haven’t passed security you have to pass security to get through to someone to speak to then you have to go through security again after all that they say you haven’t passed security. I know my name and address and postcode and national insurance number and policy number can’t tell you how bad this company is Stay well clear.

Never get a travel insurance from Standard-Insurance.com

Standard-Insurance.com will try anything and everything to avoid paying your travel insurance claim.

I had a deeply frustrating experience with Standard-Insurance.com, and I feel compelled to share my negative review to warn others. I purchased a group travel insurance from them for my family's trip to Vietnam, and the entire claims process has been an absolute nightmare. It's been months already since I filed the claim, and thinking this is going nowhere, I might as well write a review so others will not undergo the same experience I had.

We were already in the airport when our outbound flight was suddenly canceled and rescheduled for the following day, causing a cascade of issues. Unfortunately, this meant we couldn't make our prior tour bookings upon our scheduled arrival in Vietnam, which we had already paid for. Naturally, I turned to my travel insurance provider, Standard-Insurance.com, to file a claim for the covered events resulting from flight cancellation/delay.

I diligently provided all the necessary documentation, including proof that our flight was indeed canceled and rescheduled. However, my nightmare began when Standard-Insurance.com insisted on a certification from the airline explaining the CAUSE of the cancellation/delay. I reached out to the airline multiple times, but despite my persistent efforts, they were unable to provide the requested certification.

This is where my frustration with Standard-Insurance.com escalated. They rigidly stuck to their requirement, completely disregarding the fact that I had ample proof of the flight disruption. It's infuriating that they place the burden on the customer to obtain a specific document from the airline, even when the circumstances clearly fall within the coverage outlined in the policy.

Standard-Insurance.com should process claims based on the evidence provided, especially when there is undeniable proof of a canceled/delayed flight. The fact that Standard-Insurance.com refused to process my claim due to the unavailability of a document beyond my control is not justifiable and reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction.

So, think twice before choosing Standard-Insurance.com for your travel insurance needs. They will try anything and everything to avoid paying your travel insurance claim.
