I have used Square for a year and I really like the fact they have a free plan and I can still do lots with that plan. I think it’s unfair to charge almost $30 a month for a BOOKING WEBSITE, so i appreciate that. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because square has high processing fees and they also just raised, I think more than 3% and then also a change amount is a lot to take from each singular purchase, and then expect me to upgrade my plan and the rate doesn’t even drop a full percent.
The Square chat people & email question people are great. I asked the chat guy about splitting affiliate marketing income 75-25 and how to set up Square for receiving XRP. In both cases they quickly said that the features were not available but they would send the suggestions to their product people.

Please DO NOT use square. Ive been using square for 6yrs. In the past 6yrs they have deactivated 2 different business accounts for no reason and without explanation. Two accounts were in the same type of industry, one of those accounts did $368,000 in one year. They didn't give me any issues with that account, they even gave me my own personal contact person who constantly called me to make sure I didn't have any issues. I wonder why? But then they shut down my other account, and held over $7,000 for 90 days. No explanation, they were even rude about it all. They told me if I wanted my money back sooner then I should refund all my customers. How crazy is that? So this time I reported them to the consumer financial protection bureau. My heart dropped when I saw how many businesses had reported the same exact issues. Go check the consumer financial protection bureau website, and seach for block inc and you will see how many businesses are reporting the same issues. You will also see how fast square responds when they reported there. They wont even show how they resolved the issue, they hide their responses while us business owners make it all public. Do not be fooled by the fact that it hasnt happened yet, because some businesses had been using them for 10yrs then BOOM they shut them down. These people are taking millions from small businesses and hold it for 90 + days. They could be loaning out your money and making millions why your business just deteriorate. PLEASE PROTECT YOUR BUSINESS BY NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I am currently seeking an attorney and we will look for others that this has happened to. More than likely we are going to hit them with a class action lawsuit. I dont even want the money, I just want them investigated.
Update, Square has responded here on Trustpilot. But when I was a customer a few days ago I couldn't get anyone to speak with me after they deactivated my account. Once they deactivate your account THEY DO NOT HAVE TO SPEAK WITH YOU, BECAUSE AT THAT POINT YOUR NO LONGER A CUSTOMER. So onec I began to share my experience like so many others. They now want to talk, I dont need to talk with square anymore. I will never use square again and I will make it my business to warn others about them. When you have hundreds of small business owners all claiming the same thing, there's a huge problem. This company needs to be investigated by the federal government because something isn't right. Just think about it for a second, if square deactivated 1000 accounts with no explanation and each account had $1,000 in it. Thats $1,000,000 that square can hold on to for 90 days at minimum. What can a company this size do with millions of dollars in 90 days? They could lend that money to other square customers and rake in millions on percentages alone. Something isn't quite right.

Horrible, holding my businesses funds I took in, saying needs to verify account. They put and pulled money from business account. On Saturday. It’s Tuesday afternoon and still not able to receive my funds. Been on the phone with the non English speaking, rude ass foreigners all day. Put you on hold and won’t get a manager. Says nothing they can do. What kind of customer service are they running. I want my money back. Then will close my account and very easily quit excepting card. Still on hold for 4th time today for a manager. That apparently doesn’t answer the phone. What a joke. Rude
Please stay away square this company is a joke my account got deactivated after I took my second payment they asked me series of questions I provided multiple documentation
And still my account got deactivated telling me they support towing company but I know like 7 companies using them
