I reached out to Hussein at Squaremelon Ltd as he was local, and I wanted to explore whether it was possible to improve an outdated and unattractive kitchen that lacked any seating. Hussein delivered exactly that, retaining most of the existing cabinetry while replacing handles and selected units where necessary to accommodate upgraded appliances and a new layout. The result is a stylish, functional kitchen for built-in banquet seating and a dining table—achieved in a highly sustainable and environmentally conscious way. We employed Square Melon to measure up, build and construct four large wardrobes in our flat. They carried out the task, which was a difficult job logistically, with skill and precision, in a timely manner. In addition, they left the flat spotless every evening and finished the job in the timeframe they indicated at the beginning of the job. And most importantly, Hussein and his young apprentice were throughly pleasant to have around. Will definitely use again. Highly recommended.

Square Melon, lead by Mr. Hussein, were responsible for a full renovation of my flat, where I changed floors, walls, installed a new Kitchen, new bathrooms, new plumbing, new boiler and heaters, installing new wardrobes, they provided. They were super professional, attentive to details, they only accepted perfection, super accommodating and flexible to changes, all done with a big smile. Timelines given and initial budget were respected, however a lot of small last touches took sometime after we moved back in. And additional tasks were reasonably quoted in the process. I can't recommend them enough

Hussein and his crew at SquareMelon did a complete renovation of my 2 bedroom flat in Kilburn.

The job took a bit longer than expected (6 months) due to unforeseen circumstances, but it included opening up the kitchen into the nearby room to create an open plan living, rewiring and re plumbing, new flooring, doors and wooden elements and - most importantly -new kitchen and bathroom.

We had problems with a burst pipe that caused water damage to the downstairs neighbour and Hussein offered to fix it at no added cost to save us from the hassle of going through insurance as he was already there working on my flat.

Hussein is particularly good at sourcing everything you want to be installed at a good price as he has a long list of suppliers he gets good discounts from.

When it comes to designing kitchen and bathroom he finds very good solutions to save space or make space work better, and I am truly delighted with the final result.

We did a complete renovation of a 2 bedroom flat in Fulham with squaremelon, including rear/side extension and new kitchen/bathroom.

We are very happy with how the results turned out. The team took good care of not only the major works, but also the details/considering how the flat would be used day to day. They also put in extra efforts to maintain a high quality of work, for example ensuring all floors were properly leveled when putting new floorboards down.

If a hardworking honest dedicated team of people are what you need for your project, look no further than Squaremelon Ltd. Mr Hussein (as I called him) is remarkable. All his team are extremely efficient and we’re thoughtful to myself and elder mother. My only regret is that we didn’t use Squaremelon from the start of our project and avoid the nightmare cowboy builder that started the job. Squaremelon are a wonderful team to have as a contractor.

The guys at square melon installed my beautiful kitchen 8 years ago. When I had to call up to get something repaired they were super efficient, welcoming and sorted the issue straight away. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Hussein created more problems then he resolved. He was asked to replace a broken built in fridge and re-hang the doors. Not only he did not finish the job but also his work caused an electrical outage for the nearby appliance. He was unprofessional and blocked my number when I asked him to come back and resolve trouble he had caused. A very rude and patronising man. Avoid!

Hussein and his crew at Square Melon did a complete renovation of our flat in Hampstead. The job took three months and included rerouting and replacing plumbing, upgrading electricity, and replacing walls. Flooring was laid, kitchen and bathrooms rebuilt, and custom shelves and wardrobes constructed and installed.
We are absolutely delighted with the results. The flat looks beautiful. It was completed within days of the estimated finish date, and throughout the entire process Hussein was totally professional, courteous and patient. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he guided us through the various choices we had to make with concern for our comfort and taste. He made design suggestions - especially in the kitchen - which were well beyond our expectations, and he was concerned with the smallest details, adding touches which raised the level of the end result significantly. At all times during the process his communication was good. We knew when he would be working and what would be done. He answered texts or calls promptly, and was always ethical, knowledgeable - and humorous. The job was extensive and therefore not inexpensive, but was certainly good value for money, and at every stage Hussein gave a clear accounting of costs and passed along any savings he could to us. I would highly recommend him and his charming and highly-skilled workers.
