Company unhelpful.
I originally wrote a review some time ago regarding this Company after having been contacted by someone who purported to represent them. I signed a contract which stated that a payment for their services would only be made when money had been recovered by myself. Subsequently I was told the scammers had protected their funds so well that it was necessary for me to make an upfront payment in order to get the funds released. I was not prepared to do this. In the circumstances I approached Spy Innovation by email to ask them to confirm whether the individual was a bona fide member of their Company. I did not get a reply to my email.
This led me to post a dissatisfied review on this site. I was asked to remove the post and they confirmed the person was not associated with them. I removed the post and was told they did not have an agent available to help at that time. I have waited and contacted them on a number of occasions to chase them up to help me but they have continued to say they have no one available. I am now wondering why they cannot or don’t appear to want to help me. Is it because the person who contacted me was from their organisation and they know from the work he did that they cannot recover the money. If so why not be honest and say so.
In any event I have found their response in my case to be less than helpful.

After seeing your initial review which you had taken down, we reached out immediately to better understand what happened. During your conversation with our agent, you explained your interaction with an individual who claimed to be associated with our company were we immediately clarified that this person was not, and has never been, affiliated with us. Unfortunately, this was a case of impersonation, something we take very seriously.
Despite this, we did not dismiss your concerns. Our agent asked you to formally file a case with us on our website, which you did. At the time, we had limited agent availability, which meant we were unable to take on your case right away. We communicated this openly. When a partnered agent later became available, they reviewed your case but, regrettably, were unable to provide a resolution.
We sincerely apologize that we were not able to assist you directly as hoped. We kindly ask that any feedback reflects your direct experience with our company, rather than the actions of an individual who misrepresented themselves as being connected to us.
For the benefit of others, we strongly encourage verifying directly with an agency before engaging with anyone claiming to represent them. This helps protect clients from impersonation and prevents similar situations in the future. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
