I ordered the 3 pack special

I ordered the 3 pack special, then decided to add 2 more on. I had buyers remorse about 10 minutes later and decided to cancel. Email to get the cancelation and was told it couldn't be canceled since it was already being packed to ship. I waited until I received the cameras and the next day, sent the back via Fedex. They received them on10/18/24. I never got a refund back, they said they still hadn't received them. Today,10/28/24 I asked again if they had received them and I was told no they hadn't received them. I pulled up Fedex tracked and sent them a copy of the tracking for the cameras, and sure enough they received them on 10/18/24 @ 10 am. Signed by someone at the address. 20 minutes later my PayPal account shows a refund.
Not a good business, not trustworthy.

Absolutely garbage

Absolutely garbage, I bought 3 and 3 SD cards for almost $200. I never got any kind of order confirmation, no tracking and couldn't even get a response from the company until I put in a claim to PayPal. The setup process was difficult, the app is pretty low quality, picture quality is poor and the camera battery lasts a whole 10 mins after being fully charged. So don't buy these, total waste of money and time.

DONT BE FOOLED

after having a burglary decided to purchase 2 cameras.I was unable to connect them to wifi asked for a refund. they wanted a photo of items and packaging then said I could have 50% refund and keep items as it would cost me to return them they do not offer free returns so I have lost personal items and now scammed out of hard earned money.DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY DESERVE NO STARS ITS A SCAM

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. Bought 2 cameras and two micro SD cards from them online. They arrived. Set them up, well, person 25 years younger than me did! SD cards aren't recording so just live feed rendered them almost useless but just to make sure they are, the life of the built-in battery of each camera (charges in two hours OK but) last about 90 seconds then it's flat and the camera goes blank. Totally, totally rubbish. It's a con.

SpyFocus Cameras for the home from Washington State

After reading the reviews on SpyFocus I will do more research on security cameras for my house. I really appreciate people taking the time and effort to explain their experiences (good/bad). In my state (Washington State) if I have a bad experience with a company I will write to my attorney general in Washington state and his staff will address or ignore my complaint. I've always had a solution to my problem within 24 hours and have complete confidence in Mr. Bob Ferguson and his staff. His hard work and dedication to helping people in Washington state is superior. I hope that the people on this review site are able to resolve their bad experiences with SpyFocus. I haven't found one good experience on this site. Thanks again to all who care enough to take the time to let consumers know what their experience was like. I would also write to the Better Business Bureau in the United States and express my concerns over a failed business transaction so that company would be on record with a trusted organization like the Better Business Bureau. I'm very glad I found this site and wish all who post here are able to resolve their issues with good results.

It's a scam

It's a scam. They use deceptive marketing practices including showing confusing pricing to lead you to believe the product is cheaper than it is and also charge you for amounts higher than what you have selected. There was also no way to verify what you were buying, the pricing or even see shipping before they charge you. If you try to call them to cancel right away (literally seconds) they will say it's too late, the warehouse already shipped it. Is it really possible?

By the way they are an overseas company using a payment service called "With Reach, LLC" so they can appear legit and have a presence in the US. They are not based in the US at all.

I would advise not to order from them. I actually ordered two times and tried to get them canceled and it hadn’t even been shipped and they say they can’t cancel it. Very unsatisfied with this company. I called my credit card company and they’re charging more than what it was supposed to be online

When ordering off the QR code I thought…

When ordering off the QR code I thought I was paying $45 but once finalized I was charged $147. I told PayPal to cancel immediately and now they say work with a merchant. I am mad at myself for not checking the reviews first scam.

I would not even give them a 1. They are ripping people off and are a scam.
I wanted to order just 2 cameras. The price indicated was in US Dollars. They omitted to give me the final price (in AU dollars) including freight before the actual payment process. Once I clicked pay, using my pay pal, the amount changed from $75.30 US Dollars to me having paid $198.19 AU. It's outrageous. Then I discovered they charged me for an extra 3rd camera and an Extended Warranty which I didn't even ask for. They are a rip off. Not authentic. No transparancy and are cheating the public. Also, I have just seen them now on Amazon selling for each $16 AU dollars & on ebay for $18 each, so we are being ripped off.

Freaking scam

Freaking scam, are absolutely guttered.tried to cancel order 1hr after, not possible out for shipping.tonnes of emails back n worth with nothing but excuses n run around, total B.S.
Camera's arrive, don't work, battery won't charge, etc etc.
Out of pocket $500nz 😡
Sadly only now do I find this set of reviews, hard lesson learnt, stay away from this company.

Spyfocus is a scam.

I ordered the 4 Spyfocus on August 30, 2024 for $146.72. To this date I have not received. I have not received a tracking number. No 800 number to call. It's a scam. I do not know what to do, where to call to complain. That is too much money to just give to anyone with nothing in return. Spyfocus is a scam.

returned the unused items after reading the very bad reviews!!! They will not refund my money!! I believe that customer service is a bot always the same answers asking me to send proof that I returned the items which I have done. Then telling me that they sent a refund that hasn't shown up after almost 2 months

Avoid at all costs.

I ordered 3 cameras at the end of August for use at my home. When they were delivered I decided they were not ideal for where I wanted to place them (outside) as my property is open to wind and rain. I asked for a refund and was told to send a picture of the order I had received. I was then offered the chance to keep the cameras and have 50% refund. I decided against this as the cameras were no good to me. I was emailed an address where to send them back to....I went to the post office and paid £17.20 to return them with proof of postage. This was on the 12th September and I have heard nothing since. I paid £125.88 for the cameras so in total I have spent £143.00. I cannot afford to lose this amount of money as I am currently on absence from work due to cancer treatment. I have read some reviews on line and fear I have been scammed.

This company is unscrupulous

This company is unscrupulous. Do not buy anything from them. Beware any company that gives no email or contact telephone or actual address! I bought something, changed my mind and asked to cancel. They said it was already dispatched 2 hrs later they asked if I wanted to purchase something else to go in my parcel I pointed out that it was supposed to be dispatched, it is now, they said. I have tried to send the item back but getting run around. Not right email! I contacted my bank after seeing others saying they had unauthorised payments taken. Sure enough, they had put a recurring charge on my account. It has now been blocked! I am contacting trading standards about this company and i would advise others to do the same. They should not be trading! Customer service is non existent and they don’t honour refunds according to others who have tried.

I have contacted citizens advice who have reported to trading standards with a case number. They advise others if from UK, to do the same. They also advised to ask my bank for charge back, if paid by debit card, on the basis of restricted consumer rights. I did so and, I have been refunded but, subject to investigation. If they are found not to be at fault, they will re debit my account. I think that is highly unlikely! Wherever you live, I would seek some help from consumer rights with this company!
