My advice would be to go with another provider. The initial quote might be slightly higher, but it’s worth it for cover that actually protects your pet properly.

Insurance Claims Made Easy!
I had a claim to submit for my dog.
I logged on and submitted the paperwork on the Thursday evening, on the Tuesday I was advised it would be paid in full up to the level of cover I had in place and on the Monday the money was in my bank.
Very easy, straightforward and efficient process in place.

Paid extra for dental cover for my cat. Beware, if your vet suggests it's not urgent and getting treatment at a later date. If you don't get treatment within 3 months of the Vet's record/Visit, they will not pay out. As I have discovered.

Genuinely impressed with the service & speed of dealing with claims
I’ve had two dogs insured with Spot On over the years, and have had to make claims for both of them. Both times the claims have been approved and dealt with exceptionally quickly (with one leading to a continuous claim for ongoing medication, which was really easy to deal with). There were some complications with the information provided by the vet for one of my claims, and Spot On couldn’t have been more helpful. Genuinely really impressed with their service and will always keep them in mind for future policies.

Spoke to a lovely man today as my dog passed away yesterday and he was so nice and helpful and went through canceling my policy with ease. Also nice there was no cancellation charges. No desire to have another dog as yet but if I ever change my mind I will definitely use you again.

Super quick and easy claim process
Super quick and easy claim process all done online, with no issues or need to speak to anyone. I added in a lot of detail into my claim notes and provided ample evidence, receipts, notes from the vets etc, which may have helped expedite the process. But no complaints! Hopefully I never have to claim again but if I do I hope it's as easy as this time

Good and easy experience
Used SpotOn for years and claims were simple and paid out quickly. Unfortunately my dog is no longer with us but if we get another pet would definitely look to use SpotOn again.

Medication is an added extra
When I took out the policy and it stated as additional extra being - therapy treatment, behavioural treatments and home medicine - never did I think this was medication needed after a vet visit. I could have attended daily for it to be administered therefore covered, but the fact I took meds home and self administered it’s not covered.. never in my life of having dogs and insurance never known medication no to be covered!! Will go with a named insurer in future as to be honest when you add this on your not saving anything

Claim dealt with very quickly
Following the sudden illness of our 8 year old labrador, she was taken into our vets for treatment. Despite their best efforts, sadly, she did not survive. Our vet's practice helped with the insurance claim. Spot On dealt with the claim within days. The whole process was very straightforward. All correspondence from Spot On was very respectful and kind.
