The 1 star is simply for the effort made in creating the advertisement board displayed. I should have read reviews regarding this company prior to signing up with them.
We were promised the world to advertise with these guys and informed at our initial meeting that if things didn't pan out, our contract would be cancelled and we would go our separate ways. I run a very small business that supports the local community and felt advertisement with such a company would help us spread the word of what we have to offer however we haven't had a single lead from advertising with this company considering what we pay for - this is clearly a way for them to make a quick buck for very little effort and a lot of pressure upon the acquirer. As stated by previous comments, we were pressured into getting our contract signed as the “Amount of boards left were limited”. This company continue to impose excessive charges to my business only to fund there unsustainable growth. I am now handling the 'get out clauses' through the financial ombudsman services - this is unethical and no way to conduct business especially in these difficult times.

Thanks for your response. I’m surprised that you do not seem to recollect the telephone conversation we had roughly 3 months after I signed up with your business. I pointed out that I wanted to cancel the contract that was in place after informing you that my business was not benefiting from the advertisement that your company created for my business. You adamantly continued by insisting that the outstanding debt would be passed on to debt collection even though I had highlighted the fact that the partnership was financially draining on my small business especially when we are not getting the demand that was projected and forecasted for us from the signage that was created. You continued to advise that you would go away and see what you could do to help.
Unfortunately my business experienced another financial blow of which I am still trying to resolve with the police regarding the fraud matter I disclosed to you. You then came back to me to check how things had progressed some time after our telephone conversation and proposed an instalment plan that would be spread out to help keep my business on top of the payments requested from your company however even since that was discussed, there is not a single lead that has come from the advertisement created by your company. This is why I have had to take the matter up with the financial ombudsman service as I am already under a lot of financial strain and debt created by a lack of business in my close-contact business.
I posted the review that I wrote to make others aware of the goings-on and how your business operates; in our initial meeting with you colleague we were advised that we could cancel the contract at any time if a business came into financial difficulties however I feel that in spite of this highly sensitive time and situation at hand I am being pressured to commit to something that isn’t benefiting my business in anyway and only causing severe financial strain. As per your request to remove the review, I believe this stands based on my experience with your business.

Thank you for taking the time to review.
However, I am a little confused by your claims. We have never received any correspondence from you stating you wished to close the account down. In fact the last time I was able to speak with you was on 15th October 2021, when you told us you were still unable to make payment due to an account issue. You originally advised there had been a problem with your account in September 2021, and we did give you sufficient time to try and resolve this.
We have always tried to be as accommodating as we possibly can be, and even reduced the amount of your monthly instalments in September'21, as you advised you were struggling to make payment. Unfortunately since 15th October I have not been able to speak with you or received a response to the various emails and voicemails I have left for you, which is why the account has reached the point of being due to be passed to the debt management department.
To clarify the points you outlined in this review, all of the information regarding the cancellation of the contract and the terms surrounding this are clearly outlined in the contract signed, both on the face of the agreement and within the terms and conditions. Furthermore, you state "This company continue to impose excessive charges to my business", however the only money we have ever requested is that which was contractually due as per the payments outlined on your contract. We have never charged you any late payment fees, despite it being within our rights to do so and despite your oldest invoice now being 3 months overdue. In fact we even provided an extended period of time as a gesture of goodwill to give you time to bring the account up to date following you informing us of the issues with your bank.

Thank you for your response. I fear there may be some confusion, as the first time I spoke with you personally was October 15th, any conversation prior to this including the instalment plan will have been with my predecessor.
While I appreciate you are saying you asked to cancel the contract with her, it is not subject to cancellation, as stated on the face of the contract as well and outlined within the terms and conditions. We pay in advance for the spaces at the stadium, and if we were to cancel your advertisement three months after you initially signed up, this would leave us with an unfulfilled advertising space. In order to resell that, we would have to commence a sales programme to come back to your area, therefore having to suspend a current sales programme in another area of the country. As I'm sure you can appreciate as a business owner yourself, this is just not financially viable to resell a single space.
I am sorry that you do not feel any leads have been generated from the advertisement, we do everything within our power to try and ensure that the advertisement performs well, however as is the case with any form of advertising, success cannot be guaranteed. We must not forget that your board has only been up since August, and therefore has quite a substantial amount of advertising time remaining, during which time it is likely that leads will be generated.

We feel that the contract isn’t worth the money, due to our ad board being shown to nobody for 5 months out of the 12 we’re paying for. ( we were told the World Cup would be there so big crowds )
Nobody answers emails or has any advice for us.
We can only continue paying until the contact ends even though nobody is seeing out ad! How’s that right??

As previously discussed with Kirsty, you signed up in April 2021 meaning that you have had the expose from the season from that point. Crowds were back in the Stadium by then, 10,000 in May, 15,000 in June and back to full capacity from July. Upon signing you were aware that the contract was for 12 months. Your board remains up with the stadium so that even when the season finishes the board gains exposure by the various events that are held at the stadium during out of season time.
I am sorry if you feel the contract has not been worthwhile for you, but as with any advertising we are just a platform for it, we cannot guarantee business. With regards to the world cup postponement this is unfortunate indeed and a matter out of our control.
With regards to no one answering emails, I have spoken with my colleague Kirsty who has been dealing with your queries. She had gotten back to you on the 05/11/21 within 24 hours and again on the 10/11/21. Please be aware that every email we receive is answered within a timely manner, we are only a small team in office so we appreciate your patience when looking into matters. Please be assured no ones query is ever left unanswered.

Shocking experience
Shocking experience. Having signed with them and been promised a specific location for my advertising board by Christian behind the posts on Headingley Western Terrace for me seemed like a no brainer for the start of this season as all the matches were televised on Sky Sports or the Rugby League app. Turns out I was stuck on the farthest board in the corner and couldn't be seen at all. When I emailed them I was promised it would be moved. Some weeks later it still hadn't been moved and again I had to chase it up. Months later it has been re-sited but I have lost a vital advertising opportunity. When I told them to stop taking the debit card payments as I was to seek legal advice they have resorted to self-help in any case and are helping themselves to the money out of my bank account. Full of promises and fail to deliver, this company accepts no liability for their mistake and then get on the offensive with me about it. Avoid them!

Hi Peter,
On reading your review I find it deeply saddening as we, as a company, have done everything we can to accommodate your request. As previously discussed all advertising space is subject to a number of factors and this is clearly stated. As per the contract there is no set contractual space, only requested space. Your board was installed on the West Stand and is pitch facing, as per your contract, we have not breached this.
We endeavour to provide every advertiser with their specific requirements but please be understanding that this cannot always be fulfilled. However on this occasion after your conversation with Christian we planned to move the board to your desired location, which we have done. I myself let you know that the delay was due to our installation team only working at 50% employee capacity due to COVID. Given the circumstances not every request can be completed instantaneously and there should surely be a level of understanding surrounding this given the current climate.
I had offered to keep your board up on a free extension at the end of your contract to make up for the missed games in your preferred location. I thought this would be a kind gesture as your advertising was in fact still present during these matches but not to your liking.
With regards to payments being taken from the debit card, this is once again contractual. It clearly states that in the event of any defaulting standing orders the monthly payment will be taken from the card details provided by the advertiser, which we have done and within our rights. Please consult your contract with regards to this, it is boldly stated on the front above your card details and signature.
I am somewhat disheartened upon reading this review as we have not defaulted on any part of our agreement with yourself, we have actioned your request and done what we can to make up for any personal grievance you have felt. If you would like to discuss further please do let us know, but i do not think there is much more to relay.

Which ever stand is on the contract is where the board should go, if there was a mistake we would get the board moved immediately.
Shocking company
Shocking company, terrible service, only interested in taking your money, after that they are useless. I took out a boarding at Headingley stadium after falling for Christians "helping the small guys and helping the community" shpiel. I was promised 2 tickets to the opening ceremony of the new stadium, valued at £1200 each, I would receive all kinds of useful marketing and promotional material. I never received any of that. In fact I never heard from them again until I emailed to see what I actually had, since I was having £150 a month taken from my account. I hadn't seen any design proofs or anything to sign off, no phonecalls to check if I had received anything etc etc.
In my email I stated this, I was sent a picture of my board (It did exist!!!) which consisted only of a company name. No contact details and no description of trade or discounts etc. I HAVE NOT GAINED ONE SINGLE CUSTOMER FOR MY EXPENSE. Regardless I was told Christian would be in touch......still waiting on that phone call.
I also got stuck with a 2nd year after being told expicitly by Christian "the second year is optional" when agreeing the deal.
Dont fall for his "happy-chappy" facade
Reading other reviews here is the first I've heard about any kind of payment holidays or cancelling of contracts.

We now have the correct email and when fans go back all the time missed due to covid-19 will be extended and tickets will be sent.

Unfortunately Smith is a very common sir name so we have no idea who you are.
We like most other businesses had to close during lockdown, the whole country was on hold, we had one staff member working 2 hours from home, they could not possibly contact each and every customer. Therefore any businesses who were struggling contacted us and they were offered a payment holiday.
The 24 month contract is no secret, and nor is it in small print, in fact it is in a big black bold box in the middle of the contract.

We did not even get to money part of the conversation, therefore no demands for money were made. We have tried to call you back three times since you hung up on us. Absolute nonsense.
