Absolutely shocking that they are still able to operate, blatantly scamming people of their money with no intention of ever fulfilling orders. I ordered in Dec 23, enquired where my order was in Jan, only to be told my order was ready to be delivered Feb 24. Still nothing, no communication at all. I don’t know if a £400 order will be taken seriously through trading standards or small claims but if this review alone stops someone else losing their money then I’ve achieved something.

Please please do get the small claims courts involved if your situation was the same as ours (money paid, ignored, no sofa delivered) splendour sofas would also need to cover all your expenses

I ordered a sofa 8 weeks ago and no communication about the delivery time. I have rang 14 times but the phone is unmanned. I have whattsapped and it has not been picked up. I facebook messaged and not picked up. No emails replied to. Just looked their registered address up and it is a mailbox facilty called 'ghost mail'...

This is a scam company and I had to put in my lawyers hands and in my bank insurance card the situation.
They only reply when you are a posible customer, after that they dissapear , I pretended to seem like a new buyer to have and aswer after 2 months and when I told them I already bough a sofa and I want it or my money back. They told me literally :

Ordered some sample fabrics in January 24 which came quickly and then proceeded to order a Scott Sofa Chaise sofa with a delivery time of 5-6 weeks. Delivery time approached, and I messaged about the delivery, no answer. I called the number which is clearly unmanned and has a voicemail message saying to email. I have emailed 3 or 4 times no response. Messaged on Instagram, Facebook and Whatsapp and no response. Probably a scam - do not order from Splendour Sofas. If you do, or already have, and you receive a sofa, I hope there is nothing wrong with it as I don't fancy your chances of getting a resolution because they (or Kris) do not respond. Very stressful... and have asked the bank for a chargeback. Buyer Beware :-(
Ordered before Christmas
Ordered before Christmas. I was sent an email to say sorry for delay because of the Christmas period but that they are back up a running. They said they will be delivering week commencing 14tb feb but I haven’t heard anything since. I have emailed numerous times and called but haven’t had any response. I appreciate it was the festive period and they would probably end up with a back log to deliver but a courtesy call wouldn’t go a miss because as far as we know they’ve taken our money and that’s that. I can see from this site that a lot of other people are in the same boat. Not sure how they can get away with it 🤔

Beware! Sofas appear to be of very poor quality, the strut running from front to back in the middle of ours broke, with very little pressure (average size person sitting down!). Raised it with Spendour Sofas and they have just ignored me.

The Scott Velvet Single Seater Armchair was not the one we ordered, we specifically ordered the Scott Velvet Armchair as it was less bulky and would fit in our room fine

Good quality furniture at a reasonable price
Having read the reviews about lack of delivery and response from Splendour Sofas after I ordered, I was really anxious that the company was a scam. I however, have had a great experience. I ordered some fabric samples which arrived within a few days and then went on to order an armchair. The chair came exactly 5 weeks after I placed the order and I'm really pleased with the quality of it, especially given the price. I have an existing Scott suite from Made.com and it's great to have been able to add a matching chair to it.

Lack of response to non delivery …
Made a order back in July for a Scott sofa, 2 months later and no news when the sofa will be delivered
I’ve emailed and called numerous times, and had no response, wouldn’t mind if there was a delay but the lack of communication and other reviewers having a similar experience is vey concerning.
Also seeing responses to complaints from the company and not responding to emails sent is another concern
Sham company with no customer services!
We ordered and received a corner piece in July 22, and instantly noticed the quality was way below what we were expecting. It was also delivered by a ‘one man & his van’ instead of a specialist courier service which was unusual, but decided to live with it as the sofa was comfy and like the colour. However, after 11 months of us the base on one of the sections has completely collapsed! For ref we have no pets or kids and 99% of its use it’s had one person sat on it. It’s shoddy, cheap quality. I’ve tried and failed to get any acknowledgement or response back from Splendour. I’ve tried calling and emailing photos and got nothing. Really poor and will never use again. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

Poor customer service
I was expecting my delivery within 4-6 weeks as per website. Cannot reach them by telephone and they are ignoring my e-mails requesting an update. Not sure you can call it good service to take someone’s money and then never contact them again. At this point I’d be happy with a full refund and shop elsewhere
Disappointed after a lengthy wait; awful comms
I hate writing negative reviews but the lack of customer service here is really shocking. My sofa was supposed to be delivered in 3-4 weeks but ended up taking more than 3 months, with next to no updates on the timeframe. It’s practically impossible to reach anyone at the company: the phone numbers don’t work, the web form seemingly goes nowhere, and they ignore emails.
Worst of all, now that the sofa has been delivered, the colour looks nothing like the photos on the website. It was supposed to be “burnt orange” but it’s much paler. I think the product photos must be CGI. I knew that ordering it was a gamble, as the company doesn’t send out fabric samples, but I saw that they offered returns.
Unfortunately, true to form, they’ve not responded to my emails asking them to collect the sofa so it looks like I’m stuck with it. Buy at your peril.
