Love it so much. First time I hear tremolo and fast notes repetition that feel real.

Incredible!
It's an okay addition to the SSO library, I find it disappointing how it sounds too slowed down. Also you cannot change articulations with automation (via CCs or notes) and sometimes it just doesn't sound right in the release phase. Like a repeating sample fading out. Especially compared to the high quality SSO, a bit disappointing.
This library is amazing at how you can make articulations and vary them. I was very pleased with the easy interface and the quality of the sounds (of course, we are talking about Spitfire here folks...). Very happy with the purchase, and when on sale, definitely worth getting it!!!
I love SPITFIRE AUDIO. AMAZING SOUND LIBRARIES! Spitfire Symphonic Motions is exactly what I needed. I din't know how Spitfire does it, BUT PEASE KEEP IT UP! Doug Gemmell in Las Vegas 😎
Awesome library, will save me a lot of time especially with soundtracks with movement and energy.
When engaged, the Quantise mode stops the plugin from receiving MIDI CC messages. This means that it’s impossible to change the dynamics or even use the sustain pedal while this mode is engaged. Without quantisation, slight timing discrepancies accumulate the longer the keys are held. Without MIDI CC input, the dynamics can’t be controlled in real time and the sustain pedal can’t be engaged to allow your fingers time to travel to new keys. In practice, this really limits the potential for live performance. In addition to this, the Overlay Tightness parameter is routed to the the Close Mic parameter within the VST3 plugin. This both inconvenient and a potential performance issue, as it may load/unload the Close Mic samples. I was informed on 11 August that the engineering team were aware of the Quantise mode issue and working on a fix as a priority. It’s been over two months since then and neither issue has been addressed. Frankly, I’d expect glaring bugs like these to be addressed before releasing a £200 product. They could at least be fixed promptly. I’d love to update this review if/when these bugs are fixed. The sounds themselves are pretty great.
This library is amazing. I have been using it recently to add dynamic colour and texture behind some other instrument tracks, and it just sounds so realistic. I am really enjoying the movement that it creates as a whole. My MacBook Pro struggles a little with CPU usage, but the fact that you can lower the quality for real-time use and then increase again for rendering, makes this no real problem. The sound is totally worth it.
Very useful for my musical production.
It does precisely what it says on the tin and, honestly, these techniques and articulations are laborious to execute otherwise. Hopefully there will be an expansion of this engine . . . ?
I am extremely pleased with the quality of sound and ingenious user interface of this product. My first few compositions with Symphonic Motions just sparkled with its warm and convincing sound quality. Just love it!!
Works really well! A must, if you use a lot of staccato strings in your arrangements!
These are the kind of tools composers need for Film Scoring. Let's hope you do more of these Virtual Instruments. Patterns, Chords, Counterpoint Suggestion melodies and more from which we can choose and re arrange for all sections of the Orchestra.
Great inspiration in a small package Definitely not to be used standalone, but I use it alongside BBCSO and Originals to supplement with realistic bowing actions.
One of the best ostinato libraries. Has a lot of vibe and I like the Spitfire grid player. All of the attempts at ostinato libraries suffer from a little machine gunning and sync issues, and this hasn't been an exception. However, Symphonic Motions has character and I'm always curious to hear its opinion. Love it.
You can get lost in programming Motions. It is so good and satisfying.
This sounds great and is a lot of fun.
What I love about it is that it is authentic. I've never been in a symphony recording sessions, but this is the closest I can get until that opportunity presents itself.
Excellent for inpiratüon
Amazing plugin ... easy to add more life like parts to my compositions. Even as a non classical trained musician it really helps to express my ideas in a better way than i could before.
