I purchased all the remaining add ins for Abbey Road One but was a bit underwhelmed, especially for the soaring strings, as that had received a strong recommendation, so I had especially high expectations. At least I have a complete library now, for what it’s worth.
The high strings are excellent, especially the legato! It is a pity that there is no sample of the legendary low strings in this library, but it is necessary to buy it separately. According to the video, I expected that they would be in one library together.
Highly realistic when being used with other string plugins.

really quite good. it's not the best legato strings in the world but if you're going for the sound this library produces.. it kind of is the best legato library for that sound. it does ONE thing and it does it well. for that ONE thing it's 5 stars but it would be nice to be able to play some faster runs too.
Lovely sound and great addition to my Abbey Road library. Its exacty as advertised - soaring and emotional high strings that’s easy to drop into any piece of evocative music you’re looking to write.

Can't download it. Can't use it. Can't hear it. Unwanted update to down loading app with no options for older operating systems and no legacy support. Updater has worked fine in the past, but is now useless to customers using older computer systems. Rewind your company to support all of your customers. Effectively erased some customers from purchasing your products.
ARO Soaring High Strings did not disappoint in any small way. And this quality at 50% off too? Ta very much Spitfire Audio :) Already used em in a couple of tracks - very malleable to easily fit in a mix with all the mic options. Obviously goes well with the other SA ARO libraries, but they complement Strezov's Afflatus remarkably well too.
The best high strings library ever!
I really enjoy the Abbey Road One libraries. High quality sounds and consistent ambience across titles.
Lush, expressive high violins with the Abbey Road's room sound can take your compositions to new heights. Perfect for emotional passages and, obviously, soaring melodies. A fantastic addition, though it's a shame the series is complete.

Abbey Road One: Soaring High Strings is part of my work template, legatos and the definition of the first violin section is fundamental in the motif of the string instruments.
It was one of the missing elements that completes "legendary low strings." 4 stars and not 5 because the legato is yes great, but a bit mannered, and perhaps some more articulation would have been appreciated. Still a very good product.
You can't get bad sounds from Spitfire. Just like that. Top company.
Again, I love the way Paul demonstrates the product and I love the versatility and potential it has to produce amazing music. The range of these strings is quite spectacular and they really are crystal clear. It really does sound great!
