I actually contacted Spiritfield first to check product and prices within the market place. After that I have received a lot of informative and helpful information from one of their brokers Chris Barrett. I decided to make my first investment into this market with them. only time will tell if it was the correct decision.

I had very little knowledge about whisky cask investments, but found it to be a unique venture. Jonathan was very knowledgeable, patient, and thorough in explaining the many details of the investment from start to finish. Looking forward to a rewarding partnership!

I approached Chris @ Spritfilled last month with the intention to add to my cask whisky portfolio, and in particular to secure a barrel of Bunnahabhain which is not always readily accessible on the market. Within 2 weeks of my initial enquiry I'm glad to report that Chris delivered upon my request - it was a very smooth transaction. Bought a bottle of the 15 year old Mythical Beasts (Glenrothes) Single Malt. Found the palate to be pleasantly soft, yet filled with a rich citrus flavour and a oaky finish. Saving for special occasions.

Spiritfilled, were fast off the mark when I made made my initial online enquiry. I received a phone call within 12 hours, the chap was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I quickly received written guidance on the whole process, my options and the casks that were available.
Everything has been formally documented and payment was relatively easy (given the amount of money involved).
It looks like a sensible long term investment, time will tell. Anyway, Spiritfilled were faultless.

Purchased x1 Kirkcowan 200L Barrel via Spirit Filled after speaking with Jonathan Maynard.

Their prices are lower than some of their competitors, partly because they store/insure for one year and then bill you for further years each following year. So you only pay for the years you want to store.

An alternative company I purchased the same type of Barrel through charged me £700 more, but that included 10 years store/insure even after I told them I only wanted it for 5 years.

I will continue to buy barrels from Spirit Filled assuming they have stock within my budget range.

Great service from Jonathan Maynard who was able to help me source and secure my preferred barrel. I look forward to working closely with Jon / Spiritfilled going forward.

Spiritfilled and the team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable to answer my many many questions about the whiskey cask, return of investment and how to bottle / auction the whisky cask.
