After booking my Hen weekend with Monarch to Lisbon since February and to find that they had gone into administration 2.5 weeks before my hen weekend in October I had to reorganise everything last minute and take into the account the money which had been lost. I came across Spicyhen and I was immediately put at ease, nothing was too much trouble, Stacie was so helpful and reassuring and organised the beyoncè dance class so quickly it was a ray of hope after everything else had fallen through. Thank you so much for helping organise such a FUN class it was a great start to our Saturday morning to get the weekend going! Mel who taught the class was so patient and enthusiastic. I would definitely recommend spicyhen! Loved it!

Unfortunately, I can't rate the standard of this service because the service that was paid for was not provided.

Upon the day of the Hen-do, ' Spicyhen' failed to contact any of the hen party to inform us that they could no longer provide a dance class.

After sitting in the venue for over 30 minutes, we had to call customer services ( multiple times) in order for them to inform us that they would not be showing up.

For any bride, their hen do is an important part of the bridal experience. Therefore, failing to provide a service that was paid for, failing to inform the hen party and failing to return our calls in regards to a refund has had a serious negative impact on the brides hen.

Sadly, it has been a week now, and 13 hens are yet to receive any further contact or information in regards to a refund.

To avoid negativity, a disappointed bride and overall hassle... I would not recommend paying for this service.

We are just back from a hen weekend in Edinburgh. I booked the beyonce single ladies dance class through spicyhen.co.uk and they were a pleasure to deal with. The arrangements were made via Alex and she was very helpful.

The dance class itself was in a pub downstairs. It was perfect for us although we did use our own music instead of the CD player so it was louder. The instructor Kerry was a good laugh and tailored the class to our needs-not too serious! All in all-would def book through spicy hen again!

I used Spicy Hen to organise my best friends Hen Weekend in Brentwood, Essex. I opted for the 2 night stay in a hotel, with the TOWIE tour and club entry. The girls at Spicy Hen were brilliant from start to finish. If I ever e-mailed with any questions or concerns I would get a reply really quickly, and they would always be really friendly and nothing seemed like too much trouble for them. On the weekend, everything went smoothly I had no problems with any of the reservations. All of the girls on the weekend were really impressed with what they got for their money, and compared with some other hen parties staying in the same hotel but booked through a different company it seemed we got a really good deal!
Thanks again to Spicy Hen, I will be recommending you to people, and if I have another hen party to arrange in the future I know who to call!

I would definately recommend Tricia and the rest of the "spicy hen" team. They took all the stress out of organising the hen do. I went to them with my ideas and they brought all those ideas to life. All we had to do was pay and turn up on the day. Completely hassle free 😁👍.

Excellent communication and organisation. Dance instructor was really nice n good with explaining the moves even though she hadnt taught a hen party before. Only slight down side was the venue/function room was the prettiest but didnt put us off. Would use again, thanks!

We booked the Thriller Dance tuition for my sister's hen do and the tutor came to the house as requested. She was on time, and was an absolutely fantastic tutor - patient, fun, enthusiastic and even though the dance is hard (typical Michael Jackson style!!) we gave it a really good shot - it was great fun! Making the booking was so easy and the sales manager was so helpful. I had utter confidence in the booking and it did not disapppoint. My sister absolutely loved it as did the rest of the hens - I would highly recommend this company!

Spicy hen from start to finish were professional and were always in contact to cater for our needs. We gave them a rough idea of what we wanted and they came back with "packages/ideas" that we as a group could never have organised. Spicy hen took away the stress of organising abroad and the collection of payment. The whole weekend was enjoyed by all 20 women which I can honestly put mainly down to the weekend being run so smoothly. Us girls are already looking at rebooking with spicy hen, we just need someone to get married!!! I cannot recommend them highly enough!!!

I have been forced to give 1 star. i would give zero if i could, Pls i beg anyone who wants to book anything with these guys....dont go ahead! Myself and my mum were organising an event for my sisters hen do weekend. We decided to book an overnight stay in Oxford for the 8 of us (not booked via these people thank goodness)!! We booked a bollywood dance class through this lot though and what a huge mistake that was! We were assured the date and time had been confirmed and the location was Oxford, however they couldn't confirm the venue until closer the time. I just thought this was normal. We exchanged numerous emails with them where they ensured us all was booked and confirmed and a week prior to the event they will email us with the venue details. The cost of the event was £175 in total. We paid the £100 on 29th May and were informed the remainder £75 was due to be paid on 6th June. The payments were made promptly. The event was due to take place on 21st June 14 at 11am. On Friday 13th i sent various emails to them and was told there was a problem with the booking system and we will have all the info by Mon 16th. Monday...nothing, Tuesday...nothing...Wednesday myself and my mum emailed and called them numerously and then we came to the conclusion they are a waste of space. They took our money and sat on it knowing full well the event would never happen. They took our money and sat on it. We demanded a full refund which was eventually agreed...no apology no empathy no nothing. This left myself and mum in a complete stress having to find a new event or someone else to do this at such short notice (2 days). My mum thankfully found someone from another company (Magic Steps) who was more expensive, but she was genuine and turned up as agreed and we had a fantastic time. The money was finally refunded on 27th June after many emails from myself and mum demanding payment. For 1 whole month they kept £175 of our money with no event book. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR SPECIAL PARTY RUINED! Managers are Tricia and Alex and both are useless, incompetent, unprofessional beings!!! Vile!

The class was really good fun and it’s great that we have a video of the whole routine at the end. Thanks!
