SpenCertified? More like ScamCertified. The prices are a bit high but I decided to order a refurbished VCR. Turns out that if you want expedited shipping, you have to pay extra. If you don't pay extra, their economy shipping takes 4 to 5 WEEKS.
Communications were poor. 7 days after placing my order I still had not heard anything from them so I canceled my order. They said there would be a fee to cover the credit card fees and I said that was fine. However, when I got my credit card statement, I discovered they had charged me a "restocking fee" of 20%. I can understand a restocking fee if I had returned the item and they had to inspect it to make sure it was in working condition but in this case, the item had never been shipped and had remained in their possession the whole time. They had not even sent me a tracking number so they had not purchased shipping either (and in any case, its easy to cancel an unused shipping label and get a refund).
I would not do business with them again. Too many red flags.
