BUYER BEWARE!!!
I purchased an electric bike on Thursday, August 29, 2024, which this company manufactured. When I arrived home, I learned that the battery would not charge. I contacted Speedrid multiple times via email advising the company of the issue which I was having.
I went round and round with them, as I was asking for a replacement battery to be sent. They kept asking for the same information during our correspondence (model number of bike, date purchased, etc.), which was sent to them repeatedly.
Long story short, they would not stand behind the one year warranty, which I have in writing. Speedrid advised me to go to the store where the bike was bought to uphold the warranty. The warranty is through the manufacturer, not the retailer!
I would never purchase another bike from this manufacturer and have advised several friends who are thinking about getting an electric bike to go elsewhere and not to buy from Speedrid, as they do not stand behind their warranty.
My next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau.
