Their service cost me 40% of the total ticket cost and they wouldn't even let me buy, I assume because I have a custom domain name.
I've been a Spectrasonics customer/user for decades and recently upgraded from Atmosphere to Omnisphere and Trilogy to Trillian.
I'd already upgraded the Stylus to Stylus RMX and needed some support on going about the installation of the upgrades.
I contacted Spectrasonics support and was dealt with by Todd who throughout my correspondence was absolutely brilliant.
He kept me informed and helped me to go about what I needed to do to install all my upgrades.
The products themselves are unbelievable. Bit of a steep learning curve at times as the products are so professionally sophisticated, however, and as before when I had Stylus, Atmosphere and Trilogy, it will only be a matter of getting used to navigating through them all.
I can only thank Todd and his colleagues for helping me with their support in a courteous and professional manner.
Well done Todd, and please keep up the great work, your a credit to Spectrasonics!

Omnisphere 3 shows off the company's arrogance in full glory., The last thing we needed is more sounds, they are readily available from everyone else. Instead a redesign of the interface was desperately needed. Not from how it looks, no pro really cares, but from a functional, logical, creative and workflow POV. The new browser has so many issues it's insane. $200 upgrade just to roll back to Omnisphere 2 is pretty unacceptable. Drop the ego and get your customer base involved already. Fix the app, issues are plenty, and train your support staff especially Kurt to actually communicate with users that spend time sending in reports.
I just got off the phone with Kurt. 10 stars 50 Thumbs up he called me less than 10 minutes after an email request and made my problem go away. Omnisphere is an incredible program and easy to navigate.
what refreshing experience to speak to a real guy who helped unlike eventide or ilok which are both nightmares...Spectrasonics Grammy award for TAKIN CARE OF BID-NESS
Sounds very nice.. but the Interface are so booring very Oldschool look.. The Reactionstime are so slow. The Instalation need s too long.. Verification so complicated.. 🙂↕️ Nexus i like more..
Buying Omnisphere was a great investment. Elegant sounds and super easy to work with.
But I need to do a shout-out to their support. My logicboard on my Macbook broke wiping clean my harddrive. I had to re-install Omnisphere but it didn't work.
Kurt at support figured out that my Omnisphere USB installation disk was faulty only based on our mail correspondence. He trusted me and sent me a new disk.
This trust is rare in these days. I think it was the best support I have ever experienced. And yes, Omnisphere is up and running.
Thank you Kurt/Spectrasonics
I wrote an email with two questions and got a clear and helpful reply the next day :)
Amazing products and great customer support. Highly recommend.
I went out of my way to make sure a left a positive review because I’ve had 2 great experiences with Spectrasonic’s customer support.
Specifically an fellow named Alex helped me out, always seeming genuinely happy to help. Responses were quite prompt, and he solved my problems in short order.
Never dismissive, he’d always let you know he’s a quick email away. Credit where credit is due, their customer support seems about as good as you can ask for!
I had a problem with Trilian, a Spectrasonics bass plugin. After it looked like it was too complicated for email discussion, one of their guys (Alex) actually called me in the UK from LA, where they're based.
He really knew his stuff and using screen-sharing, and patiently sorted it all out for me.
Now that's what I call customer service!
until they give you full access to re-download the program without getting permission through email or paying $10..ill keep it 1 star.. doesn't feel like a secure lifetime purchase for $500..
Omnisphere2 is the monster synth with endless possibilities.

Not sure if I'm right or wrong but you cant automate mod wheel in ableton
Absolutely amazing!
Insanely good quality support. I had problems upgrading and registering Omnisphere 2 when it came out. After a few mails (with quick response by Spectrasonics.) a support guy called me and solved the problem. I might add that there's a 10 hour time difference from me to Spectrasonics in Burbank, CA but they called me after my country's business hours and sorted it out. How's that for service?
Spectrasonics make the best plugins in the business and their support are just as good. Well done!
I've never experienced such amazing customer support and service. I had issues with Omnisphere and was guided for 45 minutes until it was fixed. Braden (the guy helping me) was cool, calm and very good at directing me trough the process. Amazing company!
This is a first class company that goes way over the top with their service in helping a person using their software. The integrity of the people that work there is (once again) over the top. No wonder Spectrasonics has grown Worldwide. When a fantastic sounding software appears such as Spectrasonics and is backed up with superior service, how could you possibly go wrong.
