Written by the company

Voco is a conversation practice platform for people learning to speak Spanish, Italian, French, German or Portuguese. You have real spoken conversations with an AI persona in your target language, on topics you actually care about, with no switching to English and no interruptions to correct your grammar mid sentence. Most people who have studied a language for years can read and understand more than they can say out loud. The gap is not vocabulary or grammar, it is confidence and lack of practice actually speaking. Voco was built to close that gap directly. Every conversation adapts to your level as you speak, gets a little harder as you improve, and never marks you down for a mistake while you are mid flow. Feedback comes after the conversation, not during it, so you can focus on speaking rather than on getting things right. The platform also remembers what you have told it between sessions, so it feels less like starting from scratch each time and more like talking to someone who actually knows you. If you want to build up to a specific goal, such as a house move, a new job or visiting family who do not speak English, the 'Learning Path' lets you work towards that outcome directly, with conversations built around real situations you will actually face.

Better than my ChatGPT setup

Very impressed with this so far. It’s much better than the ChatGPT chat I had set up for the same thing, even if I’m just doing a few minutes of speaking practice a day, I’m definitely more confident just trying speaking.

This is without doubt the best way to…

This is without doubt the best way to learn how to SPEAK Spanish. The conversation is so flowing and natural with corrections after the event so you can learn from your mistakes. You can even choose specific scenarios to support your confidence, such as speaking with a new neighbour or a doctor or a co-worker.
I’ve tried tons and this is the best.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you're enjoying it, and of course it works across different languages also including French, Italian, German and Portuguese :).
