Spartan Campers Reviews

Very nice people to deal with and the van is awesome.

Thanks

Mark, Joe and the team made us feel very welcome from the start and provided an excellent service helping us find our dream campervan. The quality of the conversion and vehicle is fantastic and we would (and have done) highly recommend.

From the moment we met with these guys the service was second to none.

The guidance, details and communication filled us with such confidence and knew we had chosen the right company to convert our dream van.

Honestly can’t thank or recommend these guys enough!

We seriously love our camper and can’t wait for all the adventures to come!

Thanks all at Spartan you are great!

A great experience from start to finish. Everybody we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The quality of the van is fantastic.
Looking forward our new adventures.

The moment we laid eyes on our VW Spartan Camper we were in awe and instantly fell in love. The attention to detail is amazing. The wait to picking her up felt like the longest wait ever.
We was so excited. When first visiting Spartan, Neal was an absolute pleasure to deal with. When it came to handover day Mark went into every detail possible and made the process as smooth as ever. If I had to use one word then it would be WOW. I have talked about getting a campervan for years and now I have my pride and joy outside my house. Okay you guessed it, I am sat inside her whilst writing this review. I first visited Spartan Campers in April 2023. I loved the quality of the campers and I always wanted a two-tone one and they had a few in stock. Joe and Neil were on hand to answer all of my questions and chatted to me for over an hour. I liked the idea of choosing the colours of the interior and exterior but 2023 wasn't quite the right year. Roll on 2024, we visited Spartan Campers on the 12th Jan to discuss our requirements, we had an appointment with Mark. When we arrived Neil was there and remembered us from last year. Mark took his time to show us things about the campervans, asked what colours and there was a perfect van just sat there but with the added bonus of having an automatic gearbox, something I thought was definitely out of our price range. Roll on two weeks and now she is home with us. The handover of the camper was lovely and Neil and Mark both helped with sorting the tracker for me. All in all a fantastic bunch of people and a beautiful camper. Go there for a visit, you will definitely buy, the quality is fantastic and the team behind it all just perfect. Stop looking elsewhere come and join the Spartan Camper family 👍

First of all I’d like to thank Mark and the whole team at Spartan for the amazing work that they have done in the run up to picking up my very first camper van. From the initial email I sent back in early Dec to pickup 2nd Feb the service has been great. I realised from the first call with Mark the passion he had for vans and his role within such a superb business. Only constructive criticism I have is that I would have liked to have had more photos or maybe a video of the steps of conversion. That is a personal thing for myself as I was putting a lot of trust in Mark and the team at Spartans with me living in the North East of Scotland (Aberdeen). All I can say is that I don’t regret going with Spartans to source and convert my dream camper van. Thank you all again for an awesome experience. Now to plan great adventures ahead…

Picked up my Campervan from Spartan Campers today and I love it. It looks stunning.
From the time we first visited their site to look at vans, they couldn't have been more helpful and did not pressure us to buy. Neil and Joe took time to go over the van when we first saw it and explain everything to us. We then looked around but couldn't find anything that matched the quality of their vans and fit.
On picking the van up today, Mark and Neil couldn't do enough for us. There was a scratch on one of the new headlights and as Neil couldn't buff it out, they took the time to replace the whole unit.
Really impressed with the van and the customer service and would thoroughly recommend anyone looking for a VW camper to visit Spartan Campers.

We collected our van today and the level of finish was great. The communication was great throughout the process.

Where to start? Well from the initial meeting with the guys at Spartan, Joe , Neil, Gabriel and particularly Mark (Einstein 😉) , we have been nothing but impressed. Their knowledge , skills, expertise, and friendliness is second to none. From ordering to collection, the attention to detail has been impeccable. Nothing could have prepared us for the feeling we got when we arrived on site today though, and saw our completed camper gleaming, waiting for us . The team at Spartan were as happy and excited as we were, they are that passionate about what they do. Mark has been a genius and so helpful throughout the whole process...we have made a friend for life there. We cannot praise Spartan enough for everything they have done . Dont hesitate to contact Spartan if you are looking for a camper ...they really are superb . DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE!! Thank you so much, guys .

Our Kombi is a beauty. We are thankful for all of your help with buying our van. Your staff have been really helpful every step of the way. We look toward to adventures with our little ladies.

Buying a camper van is really expensive financially and emotionally, hence the reason I visited 5 converters and still couldn’t’ t find the van I wanted. . I saw Spartan Campers on Facebook and the two tone paint job and the interiors ( with lots of storage) looked great.

I called Late November and had a no pressure/sell conversation about what I wanted and whether it could be done for the cost.

I arranged to visit Joe and Mark at the workshops in Coventry early December and was shown lots of vans - so I could choose the combination of colours, finishes and accessories- again no sell or pressure. Mark even called me 15 minutes before arriving to see how I was doing and to ask how I liked my coffee- A NICE TOUCH.

During the build I was sent update pictures on progress. Mark accommodated a few speed wobbles, questions and changes during the build. There was great communication throughout this time which was really reassuring. I was given great info on good places to get insurance, accessories etc

I picked up my van on the 18th January and it looks great. I was picked up at the train station and then we spent 1.5 hours going over the van, explaining how everything worked and offering useful tips on best practice etc. I drove the van back to Devon and everything is perfect.

I would recommend the team at Spartan Campers.

I have travelled all over the UK in the last 10 years dreaming of getting my own Camper Van and I recently decided to take the plunge...life's too short to be dithering about. I chose Spartan Campers due to the quality, design and final touches. The team are all very honest and professional and will always be on the other end of a phone if you need advise or any help. I've had a few minor issues and the after care is brilliant, nothing is an issue. Thank you guys 😊 much love to you all. X

We picked up our campervan today 21.1.24 and we can't wait to get out and about. The whole process from initial contact with Spartan to picking up the van has taken approx 10 weeks with Christmas in the middle. Great communication throughout the build with regular photos each step of the way. Joe, Mark and Frazer have been excellent in their customer service and knowledge of campers is excellent. This is our first expererience of purchasing a campervan and we would thoroughly recommend Spartan. Thank you guys from John and Tracey

We got our van on 15 December 2023. We dealt mostly with Mark who was fantastic as were the rest of the team. They were so passionate and proud of their vans and and rightly so. We did a lot of research and honestly spartan vans could not be beaten. We were updated on a regular basis with photos and phone calls. We never felt at any point that we were being talked into buying our van. They were fantastic. We have a fabulous van They are so passionate and proud of their vans and this certainly come out with the finished product. I could not recommend spartan campervans enough thank you so so much mark Joe and the whole team!!!!!

After a lot of research we chose Spartan for our camper build.
After a visit to the showroom and a tour of the workshop, we were sold.
Within a week a van had been sourced and then it was on to the excitement of choosing interior and exterior colours, the wheels etc.
Mark guided us through the process and has kept us updated along the way with regular progress pics.
We now have our amazing van and can’t wait to go exploring!

This really was a fun experience from first viewing Spartans range of vehicles, to talking through what would be best for us, watching Spartan carefully construct our dream van, to finally picking up the keys! The staff are so proud of their work you really feel lucky to have been the recipient of one of their vans. So happy with our purchase and would recommend Spartan Campers to any first time Campervan buyers as they are never too far away for help and support.

The staff are very friendly, informative and helpful. Felt very comfortable and due to their own experiences of campers they clearly know what is needed in a van. Would highly recommend them.

Buying our first campervan - Mark could not have been more helpful in giving us some help and advice. Van looks amazing and really looking forward to our first trip.
