We’ve had a great experience overall and have been pleased with the curriculum and the many teachers. My only complaint is that it’s difficult to schedule the same teacher for a consistent time. On the flip side to that, it’s easy to cancel and reschedule as needed. I want to give a shout out to Gemma Lam that my kid has been working with last year and this year— patient, kind, and wonderful!

Our son has been taking weekly Spanish lessons with Homeschool Spanish Academy for over a year now. Not only is he enjoying the lessons and his teacher, Gema Lam, but I can see that he is finally learning the language! These lessons have brought us the structure our son didn’t have in his Spanish lessons at school. Our teacher Gema is wonderful! She is always in a good mood, friendly, and gentle in her corrections. She also resorts to translating from Spanish minimally, only when my son is unable to understand through pictures or written explanations, or when he asks questions. We highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn Spanish in a fun and manageable way, and at a very reasonable cost!

My daughter loves Homeschool Spanish Academy. She has Luisa Cosajay as her teacher and always looks forward to her lessons with her. Luisa is very positive and she makes my daughter feel very comfortable. The material is very practical.

We love Homeschool Spanish Academy! Ms. Eli Giron is an amazing teacher who makes every lesson fun and interactive. My son has learned so much and always looks forward to class. Highly recommend!

My two high schoolers have been taking a shared spanish class for the last 6 weeks and really enjoy the classes. Every teacher they have had has been amazing, kind and helpful. The classes are engaging and well planned. They enjoy the mix of speaking, listening, written homework pages and personal study time. They have especially enjoyed lessons with Alison and Gualberto and with a little planning and schedule flexibility, they have been able to see them for most of their classes and establish a relationship with them.

The curriculum is well developed.Miss Perla is amazing .

We have loved our experience with HSA so far! Exceptional teachers all-around (my son has worked with several) but has especially appreciated Tulio Soto, Velvet Lopez & Byron Reguan. Homework is very manageable, my son is learning so much through the conversations with his teachers, and scheduling is easy and convenient. I highly recommend this program to any homeschooling family.

All the teachers (Liz Gatayan, Gabriela Garcia) thus far have been great at Homeschool Spanish Academy. They are working great with my 9 and 10 year old. I’ve been particularly impressed about multiple teachers staying on track with what has been taught and keeping the learning progressing. Happy Dad, Biju Thomas

Scheduling flexibility and the material has been great.

The teachers are fantastic. They are native speakers, and they're pleasant to work with. A great way to learn to speak and not just read and write Spanish. My daughter really appreciates Dulce Martinez especially.

La maestra Andy Olayo is great with my daughter who always looks forward to her lessons.

My son is doing very well with Homeschool Spanish Academy. We love his teacher, Ester Temaj. He looks forward to his classes with Ester twice weekly. He looks forward to being able to speak fluently and I have no doubt he will achieve his goal with HSA!

My daughter has really been enjoying her classes with Rosemary Campo. She’s a great teacher and makes the class so fun! I wish we would have started this program earlier. We have had many different teachers and everyone has been wonderful. Thank you!

We have been using HSA for 6 months now and have had a great experience. It took a few tries, but we finally found wonderful, patient teachers for both our boys. Both Genesis Acipe and Sucely Cua understand how to engage and guide the boys while correcting their learning. The platform is very basic, but easy to use. Scheduling can be challenging as the teachers’ schedules vary, as do ours, but we have been able to easily schedule 1-2 lessons a week. While HSA offers “homework,” it is not too engaging for younger students and isn’t helping to build their language skills quickly as we hoped.
Overall, we recommend HSA as the teachers are first-rate.

We are really enjoying Homeschool Spanish Academy! They make it SO easy to schedule a class around your own busy schedule, and the teachers are so great! We love learning with Eli Giron and Pablo Gavlez. They are my son's favorite teachers! They are kind, funny, and full of energy which my son needs. They make my son laugh, and make the class fun and exciting for him. I am so glad that I found Homeschool Spanish Academy because there are not any language schools around us, and I didn't want to do an online teacher that was pre-recorded and not live. I would highly recommed to anyone!

My daughter has been taking classes twice a week for 3 weeks and is learning and loving it! All her teachers she been great. Gilda is a staple each week and is so energetic, engaging, & encouraging.

Both of my girls have had many different teachers and they all are amazing! My girls tell me to sign them up for classes with anyone available because they have had such positive experiences. Today my youngest had class with Monica and my older daughter had class with Carolina. Both had great lessons and left my kids smiling and feeling confident. Thank you to all the teachers!

We have been using Homeschool Spanish Academy since the beginning. Now with our student in high school, reading and speaking Spanish fluently and receiving credit we feel so lucky to have found this effective, comprehensive curriculum
