Don’t use this company they are bad at tuning cars
Another idiot with laptop who claims to know what he's doing when in reality he hasn't got a clue. I paid £200 (cash) for this idiot to map out my DPF so I could diagnose a fault, after the map, the car was in limp mode permanently. After 6 weeks of head scratching it turned out this moron had mapped out the MAF sensor. I complained and to be fair to him he mapped it back in, only for me to realise the DPF had never been deleted from the software, and deleting the MAF sensor just tricked the software into disabling DPF regen. He refused to issue a refund so I sent my ECU off to a real, actual mapper and asked them to review his file, their response was "I spat out my coffee laughing". Anyway now my car is mapped and my DPF is deleted. Avoid this moron and his attitude at all costs

Dave, the proprietor of this company, totally f#cked my mates car. Came over to perform a simple stage 1 remap of the ECU, but instead of successfully completing the job in the approx 2hr window, as advertised, he deleted critical information off the ECU, which rendered the car useless. This happened on the Wednesday, on the Thursday he returned and brought another tuning company with him, who also failed to fix the problem Dave had created. Thursday evening he took the ECU home with him to try and fix, still no joy. This went on, and finally on Saturday he said that WE would need to arrange to have the car taken to Ocean BMW in Plymouth, one hours drive away, to get them to reprogram the ECU. He made no effort to arrange to have the car moved himself, he expected us to fix his cock-up. When he was challenged on the telephone about this point, and the sentiment that in fact it should be his responsibility to get the car collected and fixed, he responded with, no word of a lie; “Oh F#ck Off!” and hung the phone up!
Because he had removed the ECU, the car could not be driven or even started, so the recovery truck had to drag it out the drive, causing further damage, before finally delivering it to BMW.
We were then required to get a taxi to Plymouth on the Wednesday to collect the car, and of course the fuel expense of driving it back.
In a nutshell, this useless, rude bell end; Dave - SouthWest Tuning, was incompetent at his job and f#cked a 2017 BMW 5 series, leaving it off the road for 6 days, providing no courtesy car, providing no customer service, just a vile, obnoxious attitude.
The car being off the road for 6 days cost us over £800 in revenue and lost bookings, as it is primarily used as a private hire taxi.
We later invoiced him for the expenses, including the taxi fare to Plymouth and fuel expense, he didn’t even respond, all he paid was the £120 to have the ECU reprogrammed by BMW.
For the record: Ocean BMW Plymouth confirmed that this problem was caused by his incompetence and incorrect procedures.
No surprise to say, the car has still not been remapped
Wouldn’t touch this company with a barge pole if you value your motor, absolute shambles run by an utter prat.
Never experienced such an unprofessional service in my entire life.
