The curtains are nice looking, blackout and well made. But they do not reduce sound.

Don't waste your money. Poor quality, no sound reduction and not blackout as light still comes through in the morning. One curtain is not level. Poor customer service, never answer the phone and slow to respond to emails. Couldn't be much more disapointed with them.

There were some communication issues at the beginning, but they were very responsive after I reached out. We now have the curtain and it is better than I was hoping for! High quality, excellent craftsmanship and it makes a huge difference for sound transfer. I would highly recommend both the company and the product!

The prices on their website are displayed in AUD, but once you proceed to checkout, the currency switches to USD which suddenly makes it 1.5x times more expensive. No tracking link was provided (how is this still possible in 2026?) although they were shipped from overseas in 2 weeks, which is fairly fast.

I ordered curtains that are supposed to cover 3 meters of windows... in fact, they cover 6 meters in total. They're so bulky so they don't fold nicely once fitted, they're so heavy (26kg) that the provided cheap metal hooks break as they cannot sustain the load. I had to replace them all with heavy duty stainless steel hooks. The hooks design itself is bad, which makes it super hard to put on the curtain rail and creates folds in the curtain in the process.

They promote a thickness of 1cm - mine are 0.2cm. They promote a noise reduction of 21db, however, I tested thoroughly and the noise reduction is 2.1 db only!

Overall I would not recommend to order curtains there.

My curtains arrived 2 days earlier than promised. The communication and customer service were efficient and kept me in the loop r.e
the dispatch of the curtains and eta.

They do a very good job of blocking light and better still they make a loud towncentre flat with old bay windows much more peaceful, they also help to treat the room acoustically which adds to the effect.

The website is clear and easy to use: size guide, customising, ordering samples... My curtains arrived on time and are of very high quality. They were carefully packaged and hang perfectly. My bedroom is now quieter at night

We had no email at the order, so impossible to know the expedition time. It has arrived maybe 3 weeks after (why not after all) in a box from china. I'm pretty sure before the order i saw somewhere on the website it was made in France but impossible tu find it again.
They are nice curtains but not as sound proof as they said. We have no device to measure it.
In the end, i have some doubt about the company and the price they are selling thick curtains you can find cheaper elswhere.

First time order, I was a bit nervous as prices were cheap considering they are custom made and soundproof. But curtains arrived on time, fitted perfectly and looked gorgeous. Street noise is reduced. Great quality!

I ordered some samples from Sound escape which arrived in a reasonable time frame. Having enquired they advised they had more colours available and asked me to send examples of colours I wanted, which I did over email. Then they stopped responding completely. After sending multiple emails and makeing endless calls to the number listed on their website I was completely ignored! Either their customer service team is rubbish or they've gone into administration. Would not recommend.

This is my 2nd pair of sound curtains from SoundEscape. They arrived after 12 days, which is fantastic. The red colour looks amazing. Can’t recommend more

Very impressed with the cost of the curtains compared to other companies. They are custom-made but cheaper They look great at my window and dampen a good amount of noise. It also helps with the acoustics in the living room, less reverberation now.

Easy to misunderstand lead times, it's not 5 days but a 5-day delivery plus an unspecified time to get items dispatched. We waited for 22 days total.
