Ruman was very helpful and got me a number of viewings that eventually led to a sale. It's a difficult process selling with shared ownership properties but SO Sales made it as easy as possible - Would strongly recommend.

Very smooth and easy to get my property listed online, I was very pleased with the professional property and floor plans. The Agent is super responsive and helpful in navigating the process and the staff are helpful and quick turnaround on things. They have met my expectations when it comes to selling.

I don’t understand why housing associations wouldn’t just use their services to sell shared ownership, my buyer funnily had enquired through the housing association but didn’t receive a response back but received a response to their enquiry through shared owner within mins, frustrating that I would have lost this buyer through the housing association thankfully SO Sales is on top of their game.

Our flat had been on sale for almost a year with the housing association and had no luck selling it. SO Sales managed to find a buyer within 10 days. Communication has been great, and we've been very happy with the service. We would recommend to our friends and family

I can’t believe how much money I saved, estate agent and even the housing association fees were extortionate it was a blessing to discover SO Sales.

I highly recommend SO Sales they make it so evident how they are better than the housing association trying to sell a shared ownership property, their automated approach is impressive and it actually works great.

I was sceptical about the automated approach but in all honesty, it was fab, they use it where it is required like responding to leads quicker or arranging viewings. Once we found a buyer the dedicated sales progressor was super helpful, easily reachable to speak to, explained process clearly for first time buyer, helped to push through the sale within the time period needed, and friendly service!

The experience of selling has made enjoyable and stress free. Very easy – listed on all sites and sent me links to access. The organised professional photography and people came and took good photos of the apartment. I would say interaction with Ruman, it has made everything easier, good communication, everything has been very fast. Sosales is good at the process, knows it well. There are no delays and I am very comfortable as a seller. It has been very good and I would definitely recommend Sosales and Ruman to any other sellers.

Recommend SO sales by Pocket Living as they are supposed to specialise in resale of this type of property.
1. There is no strategy to the sale of these properties which can be tough in any market. Little help with pricing / reduction. It will all be self driven.
2. Lack of communication from the estate agent who operated like this role was a side hustle. Very hard to get a hold of him and mostly communicated via emails.
3. Lack of push to move things both buyer/seller side. Made the prices slow and messy.
4. General lack of ownership and help. Made the process even more stressful.
5. His focus is doing the bare min and shifting responsibility

Would not recommend at all.

I would pay the extra fees than be blinded by their cheaper fees. They are cheap for a reason.

I would give zero stars if I could but I can't. Shocking experience with SoSales – avoid if you can as it's not worth the hassle or money you'll lose. A SoSales director misled me by failing to mention a key part of the property that would make it hard to a) get a mortgage and b) resell. He then refused to cover the costs I'd incurred once I realised the property was not worth buying. DO NOT use SoSales.

Sadly, we have had a very poor experience with SoSales. Having introduced us to a (Pocket Living) property for sale and instigating a survey and engaging a solicitor, we were informed by the vendors solicitor that there were extremely tight covenants associated with the property. Ultimately this meant our mortgage offer was revoked. SoSales were fully aware of the covenants and did not mention it AT ALL. They relied upon the vendors solicitor informing us, after significant costs had been incurred. Having spoken to a director at SoSales, he said we are an 'online agent' and we introduced you to the vendor, who had the responsibility to tell you. Strangely the vendor stated that it was SoSales responsibility to tell us. When viewing the property, with the owner present, we believed it was a viewing, not a fact gathering exercise! Following lengthy discussions with SoSales, we have had to abandon the purchase (due to inability to gain a mortgage from 2 of the UK's largest lenders) having received an in-principle mortgage offer prior to the surfacing of these covenants. If you wish to deal with an Agent who have superb knowledge, but keep it un-disclosed until you have spent many 100s of ££s, then SoSales are the agent for you.
