I have bought from Son of a Tailor many times and have always been very satisfied with the quality. The fit of the T-shirts was perfect after being adjusted by the email support.

The whole experience was fantastic! From start to finish I enjoyed the process and have ended up with 5 perfect fitting, high quality t shirts.

I can't heap enough praise on this company. Their customer service is beyond anything else I have experienced. I made a mistake with my orders and they very kindly replaced them free of charge with my correct sizes. The quality is also outstanding, why go anywhere else?

With my first purchase, one of the shirts didn’t fit quite right around the arms. After sending in some photos, the issue was resolved without any trouble. They even went a step further by suggesting an additional size adjustment to make the fit even better for my body. The shirts truly feel like they’re tailor-made—and they look that way too. People often comment on how well-dressed I look, even though I’m “just” wearing a T-shirt that also happens to be really comfortable. Because the fit is perfect, it gives a very polished and put-together appearance. I’ve already placed several more orders since.

This was my first time ordering and going through the pattern process. I am extremely happy with the results.

Ordered a crew neck tshirt which wasn’t exactly the right fit, but with the use of their first fit guarantee service I was able to send my photos, get recommendations on alterations, and get a perfect fit T-shirt custom made for my measurements. Amazing service and communication from the team! Will buy again, now that my measurements are saved in my profile.

I'd ordered a number of white T-shirts from different places, and Son of a Tailor looked cool with many size variations. Though I was frustrated in the beginning when they didn't fit well and I realised there was no refund as they were custom made. But with the guarantee the guys worked with me to get the measurements right, and what I received in the end was something totally made for me... and I love them more each time I put them on. Beautifully simple cut, really nice fabric, great branding in the tag, and a scan of the QR code to order more... which I'll definitely be doing.

Son of a tailor is a fantastic company and I really like my t shirts, and the crew neck sweatshirt I've bought from them. The first t-shirt I bought didn't fit quite right and they were very responsive to create a new size. The second size was perfect. Overall this is wonderful company who I will continue to get my clothing from.

By far the best t-shirt I've ever worn. I measured my favorite-fitting vintage t-shirt and they replicated it perfectly. The material, craftsmanship and care that goes into them is worth every penny. No problems with my fits so far, but fantastic return policy just in case.

the only reason I have given 4 stars is just because the limited color palette, something that becomes an issue after years of buying their, otherwise, fabulous products.
apart from that, since I discovered this brand, I have been buying consistently tees not only in cotton (short and long sleeve) but in merino wool and can't find a simple default. Quality, service, consistency in the product and what they sell, the online experience... flawless. many so called luxury brands that sell ridiculously overpriced products should learn form SON about what a luxury experience is. Next step should be personal appointments in cities around the world and the offering of special fabrics and even more custom made items.

1st tshirt shipped was a bit too fitted, sent back with pictures, they adjusted it like real pros and shipped back a perfectly fitting tshirt. Oh and all for free. Allowing me to keep the 1st shirt to gift it to anyone I want.

Son of a Tailor: a business organization dedicated to custom tailoring finely-made clothing out of premium materials with a guarantee to remake a garment, without charge, if the fit is not satisfactory. The fit of the crew-neck T-shirts I ordered is quite fine, the material superb. An order of sweater-shirts is being remade for a refined fit. The process of returning the first item and determining new measurements for a re-make was hassle free and particularly cordial. Moreover, the disciplined, passionate commitment to particular values regarding life as well as production of tailor-made fine garments makes Son of a Tailor an enterprise I value associating with. Hoping for a long relationship of being well dressed by these Good Folks.

This is a real brand and crew that actually care about finding the fit for you body size, not just sell you whatever s new or in stock. Outstanding customer service.

I really liked your brand and its mission – it honestly stood out to me.

But the way it’s set up… feels frustrating.

If a brand truly cares about sustainability, wouldn’t it make more sense to create a clear, easy-to-use sizing system – instead of offering a “Free Remake Guarantee”?

Shipping clothes across the world and then doing it all over again – just because you don’t want to design a simple sizing guide – makes no sense.

Before posting this, I actually asked for help. But the answer I got was an even more complicated measuring method.

Let’s be real – most people can measure themselves easily.
But no one knows your brand’s internal standards or where exactly to measure.

In the end – just a big disappointment.

Quality products and customer service

I've been ordering from SoT for a couple of years.
The support is easily the best I've experienced in online business: they're fast, competent and always willing to satisfy the client.

The cotton used for the classic t-shirt is really good and it lasts a long time with normal care (as for the knitwear, I don't know as I've never tried it).

They improved the collar of the polos and it seems that also the one on the t-shirts is holding better (I would still make the collar on the medium weight t-shirts a bit thicker though).
They improved the shipping times and the delivery is always on time.

Small increase on prices lately but still competitive with discounts and the free remake guarantee.

Great Quality. Great Fit. Great Service. Probably own more than 30 high collar cotton t shirts and made it to my Daily 🤩
