They seem very organised from the very first steps, all lined up in my confirmation and extremely easy to get on your feet with the backing tracks selection provided. Been around the studio before but first time had a chance to have somebody talking me through all the equipment and patiently putting up with all my wishes when setting up my recording during numerous practice runs. What we came up with at the end is taking me to a brand new level in my music endeavors!

I had my hen do and being a stickler for professionalism, that's what I got. Thank you for a spectacular time.

I went there to record a demo and I was really surprised how easy was for me to do it there. I would totally recommend them! I'm Looking forward to share it!

This was my first time in a recording studio & it was better than I could have ever imagined. I went in to sing my song & I just had so much fun. It was a birthday gift but I will do it again gladly. I was in their London studio; which was pretty impressive. I would recommend this to anyone :-)

My sister bought me a 1 hour session for my birthday. I was nervous at first because I've never been in a studio, but the laid back environment and funny sound engineer put me at ease. Even during my session, I kept messing up the lyrics, but he kept encouraging me. Time went really quickly so I had to rush a bit. But overall I was surprised with how great he made my voice sound considering this. I'll try and muster up the courage to go back and attempt another song!

Had a great time. As it was my first time in a recording studio, the staff were so reassuring and helped me to relax and calm my nerves! Definitely will recommend to my music loving friends or anyone who just wants to have a laugh!

I was given the Songmaker experience as a Christmas present from my mother-in-law-to-be. As a musician with previous experience of recording in studios and recording my own music, I was a bit skeptical as to whether or not I would enjoy it. However, the recording engineer was really fun to work with - and happy to let me be a little creative with the track I was recording. We experimented with some unusual harmonies and put hand claps onto the track, and it turned out really well - I am really proud of the final result. I got the impression that the recording engineer really enjoyed the session too, and we ran over quite a bit on time. It wasn't the 'production line' experience I was expecting... really good fun!

I really didn't know what to expect when I got given the songmaker experience for Christmas. I was pretty nervous as I was scared I would be put on the spot and not feel comfortable. However it was the complete opposite! I was expecting to be in some form of radio station style studio, however it was a luxury flat that was the managers flat with a massive studio next door! The guys were sooo nice and professional making me feel comfortable making it really enjoyable. They were organised and by sorting out my backing track and lyrics upon my arrival making me feel excited to record. They also involved my sister who came with me, giving her headphones to listen. The music technician was so friendly and encouraging and made it such a fun experience. The equipment was so professional that it really did feel like an experience recording artists would do. I would deffo recommend it for anyone who loves singing.

Really enjoyed my experience - was good fun. The team are friendly and looked after us during the whole experience. Successfully recorded my favourite song and was pleasantly surprised how they quickly they turn things around. Would recommend this as a nice present for someone.

Got the Silver Songmaking Experience as a 21st birthday present and it was the best birthday present ever!, the studio people are above and beyond friendly! The made sure my song was exactly how I wanted it to be, we recorded take after take until I was happy with the finished product then while it was being finalised I got taken on a tour of the studio rooms and was talked through some of the background of each room we went into and how all the different sounds were made, overall amazing day out and amazing present to anyone! Will be going back sometime in the future to record more songs! :)

to many problems to list BUT the main one was the songs I sang had 2nd rate backing music and not the original. when I tried to play them in my car on the way home, they did not work. and took over a month after chasing to receive them.

For my 50th birthday a good friend of mine bought me the songmaker experience as a gift and it was a real fun day. I had a really good time recording my disc and being shown how the professionals record in their day to day life. I felt really special and John the recording producer, was really great and put me at my ease, and really encouraged me. I would definitely do this again and recommend it to anyone who likes to sing because it was a real special experience I will never forget.

We didn't know what to expect as my friend and I took our 10 year old daughters for a session at Songmakers London location. The studio is set in a modern apartment/ office. The staff were friendly and laid back and the whole session was really professional, a lot of time was taken to get the sound right etc and the girls worked hard during the time we were there.
My only criticism is that we didn't know exactly what was going to happen prior to the experience and you need to be quite prepared and know the song you are going to sing really well before you go as you are singing to a backing track.
Also we didn't really know exactly what we were going to receive after the experience.
With a bit if tweaking this could be the perfect way for our potential pop stars of the future ( or not!!) to spend a few hours.

it was bloody fabulous, professional but informal, Beau was so relaxed and was invited to stay and do another song, the results were amazing we didn't realise she sung so beautifully, in fact we cried in the car on our way home, the owner came in while we were there and was so friendly gave Beau a 50% voucher to return again, which we will do, most definitely. and what's really important is that Beau loved it, it really gave her a taste for her future. if you get the opportunity to do this then DO IT, and I thought it was very reasonable too, (price wise).

I used Songmaker last year using Tesco Clubcard points. I had a two hour slot but was mistakenly only booked in for one hour. I emailed them afterwards to point this out and they offered for me to come back for a full two hour session and record a new song free of charge. (I was not rude or stroppy or demanding in my email to them so they didn't need to offer this to me just to keep me happy, I think it was very generous of them to do this). Both occasions I was made to feel very at ease and allowed to do mulitple takes until I was satisfied with the result. I would highly recommend!!

Had a brilliant experience at Songmaker really enjoyed making my own version of a song that I really like would definitely recommend them.

I bought this package as a birthday present for my best friend as I think he's got a really good voice. Having got there he was a bag of nerves as he'd never sung in front of anyone before, let alone in front of a microphone. However, the staff completely understood his position and soon he was recording like a pro and afterwards he said that it was "one of the best birthday presents" he had ever been given. We couldn't fault the staff or the equipment on the day and would recommend them to anyone.

We arrived at the studio and were made to feel at ease straight away. The location was amazing ( lots of restaurants and bars etc ) and the studio was brilliant. great fun to watch the kids strut their stuff and the end cd sounded great when we got home. The kids keep playing it all over the house which can be annoying but otherwise a must do experience.
