When I first heard the song that i ordered from Songfinch and produced by Niya Elan, I cried tears of joy. The song was everything I wanted it to be and more! The song was for my husband of 30 years and it was about our meeting and where we are now. If you want that one of a kind gift that is rare and catered to you, then Songfinch is the company for you!

I've never cried more happy tears in my life 🫶 Shayan Regan literally made a song that makes my heart echo love, joy, and all things good in the world to celebrate the love of my life. I recommend EVERYONE create a legacy memory by using song to celebrate those that you love and definitely use Shayan Regan, bangers all day!!!

Lian did a great job capturing the essence of our story. She was able to accommodate a special request for lyrics in my wife's native tongue. Overall it was a memorable experience that I would recommend to everyone out there with a special someone.

Wanted to get a song for my husband "just because". I picked a few different artists till I finally decided on Effee. What an amazing job she did with spinning our story into the most beautiful song ever. Her voice is sweet, calm, peaceful. I could listen to her sing all day, every day. I have yet to give it to my husband but will soon. I cried when I first heard it and I know he will too. She is amazing as I am sure all the artists are, but am so glad she was the one I chose to compose this absolutely beautiful piece. Thank you so much Effee!!

When I ordered a song for our 10th wedding anniversary, I tried to keep my expectations low. I only listened to examples from 3 artists in the genre I was looking for and answered a few questions. That was it.

An amazing singer/song writer gave me so much more than I could have imagined! They managed to take some seemingly random details that I pulled from our 23 year relationship and turned them into a beautifully written song that captured the essence of who we are as a couple and how much she means to me. I cried when I heard it, my wife cried when she heard it, and friends and family have all been incredibly impressed by just how how talented the artist was! Thank you for an amazing experience!

I entrusted songfinch with my most precious memories of my father whom had just passed and asked Scott Simpson one of their fabulous artist to write me a song to remember him by. I cannot explain how wonderful this gift was. His song was so perfect, so moving and exceeded all of my expectations. It has really helped my heart heal and deal with my grief. I played my beautiful song written by Scott at my dads funeral and graveside. It is my lasting gift of our relationship. Scott has a wonderrful voice and I can hear the care he took to make my song perfect amd memories eternal. It’s a gift I will always cherish!

Couldn't have been better! I received it as a gift from my husband and Danny Gruff's lyrics and his amazing vocals were brilliant. I loved the melody - the song really rocks! (My adult children loved it as well!) The artist followed the brief given and constructed the lyrics in a clear and meaningful way. I have no hesitation in recommending Danny and Songfinch to my friends! Thanks to you both!

This is such a great idea - and I imagine when you get a song that hits the mark for you, it’s fab. The problem is when you are not happy, the customer service is really poor. I requested a song that was of medium tempo, heartfelt and comical. What I got was a song that was slow and just heartfelt so it didn’t really represent the relationship I have with the recipient. And of course, “creative license/interpretation” is a good explanation for my not being happy- except the artist didn’t follow my instruction! Customer service is basically a robot. I have contacted them numerous times. There is promise that a representative will get back to you in 24hrs but that doesn’t happen. I could, additionally pay an extra $65 for an extra verse which might go towards resolving the issue, and funnily enough, if I want to do that, it suddenly becomes very easy to part with more money. An already expensive gift which I now won’t be able to give.

Worst customer service experience ever! Everything is automated responses. Seriously! It is almost impossible to contact a human. When you finally do (only through email) it takes up to 3 days to hear back...each time you correspond! I DO NOT LIKE the song I paid almost $300 for (purchased an extra verse). It was boring, empty, emotionless, weak, worded horribly, no flow to the music, unpredictable melody and very unpleasant to the ear and so sloppy! My guess is that it was thrown together over night in spite of the fact I waited for over a week to receive the song. I tried to reach out to ask what could be done to fix all the issues. Of course, I have not heard back from them at all. I will never use this company again. My suggestion is to save your time and money. Plan ahead and ask a friend who is a musician/vocalist/artist if you can hire them to compose a song for you. Or ask friends if they know anyone. Obviously this company has a brilliant advertising campaign. They post all the videos that are successful. I know I can't be the only person who had such a bad experience with them. I will NEVER use the song I paid them for. I did not/will not do a reveal for my husband (who the song was for, for fathers day). It would be unfair to him to present this "song" and make him have to lie about how much he loves it to spare my feelings. You might be lucky and end up with something that you really like, or you could end up like me and waste your time and money and have a song that you will never use. The company has a strict policy (apparently) of no refunds, no changes to the song (unless you want to pay more), no changing artists and my experience is if you want to communicate about any issues, they don't care at all. Oh, I tried to use the fathers day discount code when I first ordered and it was NOT A VALID CODE. I reached out to ask them to help me and I finally heard back two days later (after I finally gave up and just paid full price). I asked them if they could honor the discount and they replied with an emphatic NO! So yeah, this company has BIG issues! Buyer beware.

Loved our song! LOVED it. :). It is catchy and perfectly captures the person whom it was written for. !!! Fantastic!!

This was my first time to purchase a song. I chose J.B. for a simple reason I loved his sample song and his voice. What I ended up was loving the song too quickly without playing it over and over again realising the song is not the singer nor the music I love. The instrument chosen was an electric guitar which I hate.
It is a learning curve for me understanding how all this works including music instruments that cannot be changed after the song has been made. I don’t think I could advise not to play electric guitar. The song lyrics can be changed for a fee with the exception of wrong pronounciations, wrong dates/years, etc which is free. I am meant to give my wife the song today as it’s our 14 year anniversary and I am a bit unsure whether to or not. I feel stuck.
Another thing support writes back with copy and paste answer I feel that they’re not humanly available to help me fully and to understand.

Jillian Lavin NAILED IT! I asked for a song for my step dad for Father’s Day. She encompassed everything I asked for and it literally sounds amazing and was exactly the tempo, the genre, just everything I could have wanted! I highly recommend doing this for a loved one. I took a chance with some of the negative reviews but I’m glad I did.

Holy smokes, Ryan Tyler is a champion. I’m in tears. I asked for a rock anthem for my 4 year old to dedicate to his dad. I was so nervous that I didn’t give enough “good” content or that the message I really wanted to be at the heart of the song would be lost in translation, but he KILLED IT!! I cannot wait to have my son share this with my husband on Father’s Day. I wish I could contact the artist directly through SongFinch and tell him in my own words how grateful I am and how talented he is!!!

Not impressed so far by the Songfinch experience. The song I received wasn’t too bad but needed some revision which wasn’t covered in the original price and was a bit short so I paid for a pre-written lyric session and an extra verse (an extra $115). I have heard nothing about either since (now 3 days ago). I know the verse can take up to 7 days but have not even had an email confirmation of the pre-written lyric session and had no replies to my requests for support. This is for my 10th wedding anniversary in 3 weeks. Don’t think I would recommend Songfinch to anyone else.

Shockingly bad, but my partner and me was able to laugh about it after and how this will be one those stories told for years to come for humorous reasons.

But the issue is it didn’t cost just a few pound, it was expensive and if you’re spending that kind of money looking for something special and meaningful.
Then DO NOT buy this.

It was that bad, that’s why we ended up laughing about it, the lyrics were like something from an episode of only fools and horses and the singer like the one from the famous, cwying episode, which most people will know exactly how bad that was.

Further the other big issue, was when we complained to songfinch, the reply was just as bad and they had no interest in resolving the matter at all, we have received no contact from last message to them for an update.
They I believe are a pocket the money and run company, I read there are many hundreds of other people complaining and maybe it’s one of those companies that once the reputation becomes so bad, then they will just cut and run with the money.

So my summary, want to have a special song written and made for your other half, go buy a keyboard, a pad and pen and do it yaself.
It will be a lot cheaper and better than using this company.

I placed two orders (two songs) with two different artists one artist was Ryan Tyler and the other one was Delwing Eiland- I sincerely did not like the manner the songs were composed.

I choose two different artists just in case one song was horrible then the other song will be better. I was unlucky It was well over $400 and the songs did not sound like it was done by a professional artist (singer)
I sincerely sent a message to the recipient apologizing for the sound of the music.

The artist's voices did not sound the same as the initial song sample I clicked on as advertised on the sight songfinch.com
I don't like to leave a bad review but there was no way I could have pre-listened to the song prior they send the song to my recipient- I felt so embarrassed to know that my recipient received these songs.

I was unsatisfied with both of my songs.
