2020 was a stressful year... I noticed my anxiety picking up, and I wasn't sleeping well. I was having a lot of trouble falling asleep, and when I did fall asleep, it was not restful. I have an Oura ring that kept telling me my breathing rate was super high when I was sleeping, and that could be the problem. If my body couldn't relax and really rest when I was sleeping, what's the point in sleeping! I didn't know what to do, but I knew I needed help. When I found Somnox, it sounded like the perfect solution. Something to cuddle and help me breathe slower and deeper and therefore sleep better? It was literally exactly what I was needing. And it is so great! I have definitely noticed an improvement in my sleep and restfulness. I wake up feeling actually refreshed! On top of that, I think my Somnox is adorable and very soothing to hold. Like the most low maintenance puppy- and it won't even chew your shoes LOL.

Little robot cuddle buddy

works exactly as advertised. got mine via kickstarter back in 2018 and still going strong. definitely recommend this little thing. if you’re thinking about it, just do it.

I love my little bean baby, it helps me sleep and is almost instant. I definitely get more restful sleep and wake up more refreshed. The little guy is also awesome for some cuddles. I 10/10 would recommend.

I have had insomnia for most of my life and had ended up on prescription medication to help me relax enough to go to sleep. I saw the Somnox Sleep Robot on CBS's Innovation Nation and, although it was pricey, I decided to give it a try. I have been using the Robot since April of 2020. The calming nature of the Somnox Sleep Robot is just what I needed. I enjoy the shape because I'm a side sleeper and it fits right beside me in the bed. I lay my arm over it and have the sound set to ocean waves. My body has learned to feel the Robot moving and adjust my breathing to it. It took time for me to get used to the breathing and to adjust the settings where I felt comfortable, but once I did it has been amazing! I am off of my medication and can go to sleep in around 20 minutes now. I never leave home without it and took it on vacation to Colorado last summer. I would recommend the Somnox Sleep Robot to anyone who has trouble going to sleep.

Somnox is amazing! I've been having trouble with falling asleep and ever since I've used the Somnox, this has changed. I'm able to relax, sleep better, and be less anxious when going to sleep. It makes me feel calmer and ready to sleep. Perhaps this is the best pillow I've ever slept in my life. I have high recommendation for this Somnox pillow.

The Sleep Robot I got from my local Sleep Number store has been great! I love the different settings and the white noise. Would recommend!

Normally I am very skeptical when it comes to tech-solutions for health-related problems.
However, Somnox appears to be a great aide and actually helps me to calm down and fall asleep faster, both during the day and at night.

It took a while before I noticed some effects and some nights I still can't fall asleep.
I guess my mind is racing too much some nights.

After two months I can say I feel more energized in the morning and also during the day I feel way less drowsy.
Now I am planning to completely stop taking sleeping meds which is awesome.

I’ve been using the Somnox Sleep Robot for exactly one year now. In that year I’ve upgraded to their second model because I was very satisfied with their first “robot”.

I saw their product on the Dutch version of the tv show “Dragons Den” late 2020 or beginning of 2021. I got very interested by their pitch on this show and did some research. I then ordered one at the first opportunity I had and I’ve not been disappointed. It works as advertised.

Lots of people have difficulty falling or staying asleep, for lots of different reasons. This Robot won’t dissolve the reasons why you may have sleeping problems, it’s not a Doctor or a Psychologist but it will help you fall (back) asleep by focusing on your breathing. That’s were the secret lies. Many, if not all, relax / meditation exercises focus on breathing and this thing shines in that department. You have total control in how you want the robot to help you focus on, and slow your breathing down while you fall asleep. The way it “Breathes” with you and gives you sensory feedback is very pleasing. You can hold it any which way that works for you. There’s also the option to play sounds and music if you choose to do so. And I find the timer a very useful tool as well.

I was on the Somnox email list to receive notifications of important updates, which are easily accomplished via bluetooth and wifi, and was notified that a version Two was about to be released with several major improvements. As I was so satisfied with the first one I started reading about version Two. Indeed there were so many improvements that I also bought the second version.

Unfortunately version Two did have some introductory problems which were unforeseen by Somnox. There were hardware problems and also software that didn’t work as expected. When I contacted them about this they were very open and upfront about these problems and did everything they had to, to solve them. And they did! Those problems are now Completely Solved. I’m very happy again with version Two of the “Robot” and use it on a regular basis.

I’m 55 years old now and have had numerous contacts with various companies’ customer services.
I have Never had such GOOD customer service as I have received from Somnox. I truly wish all companies would be like this. They are THE shining example of how human beings should treat each other.

Can’t think of a better compliment to give them … And their product ain’t bad either ;-)

We have DiD disorder and have a lot of bad dreams and Panic we live in the USA but we would love to try it have issues sleeping a night we have a lot of different parts so are littles but need something so we don't have to rely on meds all the time we will give you a good review and do a youtube video

I had some questions about the Somnox 2, so I easily planned a phone call with the organisation. I was interested in some specifications of the product, how to use it and infotmation about the organisation behind it. I had a very nice phone call with an enthusiastic person who told me everything I wanted to know! Very good service and a beautiful product!

Somnox is a great investment for those who want to improve their sleep and relaxation. I experience a lot of restlesness which makes it hard to achieve good quality of sleep. Holding my Somnox in my arms as a pluche calms me, which has resulted in WAY better sleep quality! I don't wake up 6 times a night anymore and I also don't stay awake long anymore before falling a sleep. The connection with the app is easy, and just allow yourself some time to find the best settings for you. For me it also works to use my Somnox during the day sometimes if I want a moment of rest/relaxation. Overall, I would definitely recommend Somnox! Also, the Somnox team is very kind and helpful if you need any advice :)

Product was not for me but service was great

I bought a Somnox 2 for a friend knowing in advance the product works for many people, but not for everyone. This made me hesitant making such an expensive present a bit of a 'gamble'. But since Somnox offers a great return policy, I decided to give it a go. In the end, if it did work, it was worth a chance. My friend tried it and in the end admitted it wasn't working for him. Main reason was that he was a belly sleeper and that makes hugging the Somnox difficult. That was of course too bad, but I knew this could happen. I heard from others who have kept theirs and are very happy with the help it has given them in getting better sleep. The Somnox team have been very helpful in assisting and processing the return.

Even though the Somnox didn't work for my friend, I am giving a 5-star rating because I know this product works for many people, and the service and after sales support is really good. Personally I haven't tried the Somnox product in action because I have no issues sleeping, but I would certainly try if I had sleep issues in the future.

TIP: If you are planning to give Somnox as a present, just make sure you check if the person you are giving it to is a side, back or belly sleeper.

Have been using the Somnox II now for about one full week and really happy. Already convinced in the first week and sharing my experience with friend & family and just ordered one for my mother as well!

Just received my Somnox 2. And he is even better than Somnox 1. Softer, smaller. It is easier to hold him. There are more choices of music I can make and he reacts very fast and exact on my wishes of breathing. It is really great to have him. Thank you team Somnox.

The Somnox has been a lifesaver for me. I used to sleep 1 or 2 hours a night before using it. I now sleep at least 6 which has been a huge inprovement.
I fall asleep much faster and really miss the Somnox when I don't have it in bed with me.
Changing it once, lasts me at least 3 or 4 nights, which is great.

A con is the size. Its quite big to have in bed with you. You do get used to this though.
Also, keep in mind it will take some time to get used to the Somnox (and it to you). Give it about 2 weeks before you really notice a difference.

Id say: TRY IT!!
Worst case scenario is you don't like it. And if that is the case, you just sent it back no questions asked. I do really think most people will keep it though.
It has really helped me a lot!!

Dit apparaat is voor mij echt een lifesaver geweest!! Ik sliep gemiddeld 1 a 2 uur per nacht en dat is nu minimaal 6 uur. Ik val veel sneller in slaap en mis de Somnox echt wanneer ik hem niet bij me heb. 1x laden is goed genoeg voor 3 a 4 nachten gebruik, top.

Nadeel voor mij is alleen de grootte, het is best een voorwerp om bij je in bed te hebben. Maar je went hier ook wel weer aan... Ook duurt het ongeveer een week of 2 tot je echt verandering in je slaappatroon gaat merken, dus geef het wel de tijd.

Ik zou zeggen: probeer het gewoon!! Wanneer het je niet bevalt, krijg je zonder problemen je geld terug. Ik denk echter dat de meeste mensen echt heel blij met de robot zullen zijn.
Ik ben er zelf echt ontzettend mee geholpen!

You pay a lot of money for something that is still in a pilot phase. We send it back because we thought the speaker was broken. Somnox gave it back with the massage. This is the quality of our speaker. Bad! Really bad!!!

What an absolutely beautiful company this is, the support I have received has been absolutely outstanding and the support is heart warming. Without Somnox i fall asleep after two hours, but with Somnox within 30 minutes and wake up more rested. I love my Somnox, it,s an Excellent product and great customer service.”

Took a few days to get used to it (i.e. new sleep position so I can hold the device). But now I don't see how I will ever sleep without it. Minor suggestion would be to have the device detect once sleeping, and then put itself in sleep mode. Then after detecting motion (i.e. waking up at night) turn itself back on. As of now it's hard at night to find the ON button to restart it to go back to sleep in the middle of the night. Only other gripe I have is that the device I got (from Amazon) did not come with the Birth Certificate, so someone in the factory is slacking on the packing and did not pack all items in the box.
