The guys were calling to detect the source of omission of fumes from the oil fired boiler. It's an older boiler, actually very old. It took some searching to resolve the issue. In fact, had to return the next day to complete the job due to the unfamiliar boiler. Very happy to report that there is no longer the very strong omission of fumes when boiler switched on. I was mindful that both days were extremely cold conditions for the guys to be working in, and am very grateful for work done, including in the cold weather. Thank you.

Prompt, fixed the issue (leaking pipe) on the first visit (another company had come out, looked at it and left saying they’d be back to fix it and I never saw them again). Solv had the spare part in the van with them. Couldn’t recommend solv enough. Won’t be using anyone else!

Solv recently replaced my old oil boiler with a new gas system, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the initial consultation to the final installation, everything was handled professionally and efficiently.
Colm was great to deal with throughout — clear communication, honest advice, and always quick to respond. On the day of the install, Gareth and Blaine were excellent: punctual, tidy, and clearly skilled at what they do. The job was completed smoothly with minimal disruption, and the new system is working brilliantly.
