A bit of a scam
A bit of a scam. I ordered a product I used to use but have been unable to find anywhere recently. Delighted to find it listed here, only to be gutted to receive the following once it was on its way: “I wanted to let you know that the image shown at checkout displayed the older light‑green packaging, while the item you will receive comes in Clinique’s updated design, which is a pale pink/neutral tube. The product itself — Clinique Foaming Sonic Facial Soap 150ml — is exactly the same formula. Clinique has been phasing out the old green packaging across their cleansing range, and newer stock now arrives in the refreshed style.” Which is untrue (they were basically going to send me the product that is widely available and COMPLETELY different) and therefore fraudulent - representing one product as another.

To clarify the situation: the Clinique Foaming Sonic Facial Soap 150ml originally came in Clinique’s classic light‑green packaging. Clinique has since updated the design of their cleansing range, and the same product is now supplied in the newer pale‑pink/neutral packaging. This is a standard packaging update from Clinique, and the formula remains the same.
As soon as your order was placed, we emailed you several times to explain this packaging update before dispatch. The order was not sent out and was never on its way — we were waiting for your confirmation. Like all online orders, payment is taken at checkout, but once you replied to say you did not want the updated packaging, we immediately cancelled the order and issued a full refund.
We are a small VAT‑registered business established in 2004, and accuracy is extremely important to us. Our intention was never to misrepresent anything — only to be transparent about the packaging change before sending your order. We appreciate that the updated packaging may look very different from the older design, but it is not a different product.
If you’d like to discuss anything further, we’re always happy to help directly.

As is typical with So Lippy, they frequently offer some of the most competitive prices on branded, obscure and discontinued fragrances. I ordered a Dunhill Egyptian Smoke Eau de Parfum and paid just £45. Compared to the prices on other sites with reasonable reputations, I saved over £10. The delivery was prompt, the packaging more than adequate and received frequent emails advising me of progress. Keep it up So Lippy

Legitimate company - great experience
