The SolidWoodTops website is incredibly thorough with great explanations of different step in the process and covering all of the many options they provide, it makes you very confident that you are working with the right people for any of your wood top needs.
I placed my order in middle of a bank holiday weekend and to my surprise we've had multiple back and forth communications with them answering my questions and help move my order along.
Couldn't recommend them enough.

This site and it's FAQs were invaluable in helping me find a suitable desktop to fit my standing desk frame. The photos on the website were extremely helpful, as was the design wizard which clearly explained all of the options with examples, so that I could make an informed decision. Responses from the team were prompt, with excellent attention to detail.

Ordered a solid walnut top for my sit/stand desk from Solid Wood Tops. My experience echoes the positive rave reviews. I was responded to within a day. Joe put me in touch with a workshop that specialized in the type of wood I was after and took care of the ordering process on my behalf. He even provided exact information on where the wood would be sourced from and the grade/quality of the wood. The end result is spectacular! The best piece of wood I've ever owned.

Solid Wood Tops offers one of the most customisable services around. Their partners provide a wide range of edge and corner profiles, and the ordering process was smooth and straightforward. It's expensive, but the price feels fair when you're supporting independent UK businesses.

The website is comprehensive and answers pretty much every question, though it could benefit from filters on the sample photos to help identify products closest to your preferences.

Really good company to use. Very quick to respond to enquiries and emails, website is great for making everything clear and answering any questions you might have. Knocked one star off as there doesn’t seem to be an option to ring the company which would be helpful also
