I had solar panels and a battery fitted to my property by Solar Safe UK last December. I'm absolutely thrilled with the quick service provided, everything was done on the dates promised and they've done a really neat installation.

We're in the depths of winter and still managing to generate half our energy from the panels so am really looking forward to the longer days where we should be off grid for our energy generation.

Recently had another 6KW Solar system installed, with a large battery storage upgrade with Solar Safe UK, I just want to say they have been an unbelievable, The attention to detail, the pricing of their systems, everything is absolutely bang on the mark. They operate in a completely hassle free and non "pushy" way, which is a breath of fresh air.

James in particular has been outstanding with his explanation of the system, how it works and what we can realistically expect it to produce living in the UK! They have been on hand with any queries that I had with the system and have always been more than happy to help.

I Highly recommend this company to anybody who is genuinely thinking about investing in a solar system, These guys aren't out here to con anyone they genuine enjoy and respect what they do.

Do not use this company. In 2017 the inverter on my solar PV system packed in. As the system was under guarantee the company organised repair and solar safe came to replace my inverter. Whilst there the guy criticised everything about my original installation and tried to sell me all sorts of “extras” that I needed as well as installing a Goodwe inverter and selling me a PVplus extra.
Recently I realised when wanting to send my generation meter reading that I had a fault showing on my inverter.
I contacted solar safe as the installers via email. We exchanged several emails and even a video of the breakers tripping every time I tried to reset them. His response was I had lots of problems which he could see from this video and again I think he had “£” signs in his eyes. That all changed when I told him that he had installed the inverter, which was under warranty still, and the PV plus system.
His response then changed. He was no longer interested in helping, saying “he wasn’t my personal PA” and sent me a link the the Goodwe website and refused to help any further.
After some research I found a local solar company who stated they would take on warranty work. This company attended looked at the inverter and took what information they needed.
He then contacted me to say the fault codes we’re suggesting a problem with the PV plus system that had been fitted by solar safe.
On examination by an electrician this was found to be correct and was very quickly repaired.
After so long since the installation by solar safe I never expected them to attend without paying for them to come but I do think he should have agreed to come and offer help with products he installed. Exceptionally poor service.
Thank goodness other companies are not the same and my system is back working again.

From start to finish, this company’s response and workmanship have been first class. In what was a big step for us, we have been hugely reassured by the level of knowledge and efficiency shown by James and the team in every aspect. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

What makes a great company?
Well... start with a straightforward, honest quote that includes all the elements that are to be included. Secondly keep the customer in the loop while plans are drawn and planning permissions gained. Thirdly - be ready with the equipment and the man-power when it is required to actually be fitted. Fourthly - stick with the prices and the dates for fitting . And lastly... do a truly professional fit, leave the customer educated on the system, with all guarantees and assurances of any future fixes if required.

A fantastic family run firm, full of knowledge and nothing is too much trouble. Communication was fluid throughout the build up and the installation seamless. They were clean, great to work with and super helpful with all of my questions. They have also been excellent post install, coming back on queries and supporting my understanding.
