Solarroof Installed Solar panels, inverter, battery relatively seamlessly. We then experienced a slightly sluggish conclusion to the installation in terms of connection and configuration, and final documentation. System performed well for the first 6 months but we now have connectivity failure, meaning we can't view system performance remotely. Solarroof did visit once to try to re-config / connect, but could not connect. We have repeatedly tried to contact them to ascertain next steps, but they are our pleas for any update / help are going unanswered.

Since having my solar array fitted 10 years ago, I've only had issue on two occasions where I've needed to contact Solar Roof for assistance. Needless to say both times I received an immediate and satisfactory conclusion. Thank you Kean

This company acts as a "middleman" between customer and solar installers. This probably explains that the company is not interested at all in providing any customer service, as it will cost them money every time they have to send an electrician in order to attend a (warranty-related) problem. There are plenty of reliable solar installers out there, where the guys installing the panels own the business and are interested in maintaining a good reputation - stay away from solarroof.org.uk; I wish we had, hindsight is a great virtue. Many hours of my life lost to trying to contact these cowboys.....to no avail.

Good installation of solar panels with SolarEdge optimisers quite a while ago with this company. Then something went wrong with the optimisers, SolarEdge was brilliant, sent out two new optimisers within a few days. I first contacted Ken Menzies, who runs solarroof.org, via phone/ e.mail / SMS on the 8th Sept 2022, as this appeared to be a warranty matter. I took him A MONTH just to get back to me. He then lied to me saying that he is not licensed any more to fit SolarEdge parts, and this was after SolarEdge contacted him to discuss terms of the optimiser exchange! He quickly backed down as this excuse obviously did not work.... He finally came to the house on the 12th December 2022, nearly three months after contacting him. We had to -of course- had to talk about arranging scaffolding etc for him. Today is the 13th February 2023, and we are still waiting to be contacted and for the repair to be done. As I said before: Good installation, but a shameful attitude to customer service.
