False Advertising with Fabric
I purchased an $80 pair of pajamas from Soft & Sleepy because the product description stated they were cotton. When the item arrived, the garment label indicated 98% polyester.
I contacted customer service and requested either a prepaid return label or a full refund due to the discrepancy between the advertised fabric and the product received. The company repeatedly declined both requests and instead offered partial refunds and store credit while requiring me to absorb the return shipping costs.
After multiple attempts to resolve the matter directly with the company, I filed a dispute with my credit card issuer and was refunded.
My advice to prospective customers is to carefully review product details and keep documentation of listings, labels, and correspondence should any issues arise.
