Subscribed for a second year as they offered me a $1.99/month for 12 months. Their policy is to auto renew unless you cancel your subscription BEFORE the expiry date. Well I cancelled my subscription the day that I purchased it and had the year sitting at a pending cancellation status so as to NOT be hit with the $60 renewal fee - its COVID and just cant afford it. WELLL lo and behold I get an alert from paypal that I had a charge to the Hurricane (SOFREP) group for $60 on July first and at the same time my account was cancelled and inactivated. I contacted "support" for a refund and after 14 days - 5 emails and a post in the team room I got a canned massage that their hands were tied and no refund was forthcoming as the policy was that the subscription had to be cancelled BEFORE the expiration date. What? 365 days prior to expiry wasnt notice enough? AND even though they have my money I dont even have the subscription or access that they took my money to provide? HORRIBLE business. But ducking to Puerto Rico to not pay the taxes I should have known. I am very disappointed and feel that this is truly a bad reflection on vet run businesses and services. I BET any money that Brandon or the other powers that be there aren't aware of THIS business practice. Or at least I HOPE that they arent. Dispute filed with Paypal since support's "CANDY" isnt able to respond with anything other than a canned message.
Avoid. Just order from Amazon
They blame Covid 19 for all their problems. Ordered April 7, 2020 and my items are lost in transit and they ask me to be patient. Avoid at all costs. All the items are shipping from China according to them. So they knew when they sold it that people would not be getting their items.
Literally the WORST customer service…
Literally the WORST customer service and company I have ever dealt with. I ordered as a Valentines present, as assured it would ship in time. When I followed up the next day I was told it wouldn't ship for at least 2 weeks so I cancelled the subscription. They charged me over $300, didnt send anything and still haven't received a credit for the charge. I have emailed (still have yet to get a response) and spoken with their "support team" and get the same answer every time, it is in the "tier two" for approval you'll get it in a week.... well it is has been over a month and I haven't received anything. This company puts an extremely bad light on veterans, they are scammers and shouldn't have a company. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

I was purchasing this to support an organization that is run my special ops veterans. I received everything I ordered but sadly it all came straight from China. I would not have ordered it if I realized it had to cross an ocean to get here a month later. It seems irresponsible to have things come from China.

Poor quality assurance
Poor quality assurance has led to needing to contact customer service twice in less than a month. First was a $100 unauthorized charge that should have never been placed given I was a lifetime member but also had completely cancelled my subscription prior to becoming the lifetime member. It required multiple exchanges to be corrected and originally I was told it would take 2 weeks to even have a refund issued, let alone actually credited back. So again wasting more time getting that fixed and still took almost a full week to begin the crediting process. Second time was a material order. Ordered 2 of the same item. All the documentation shows 2 ordered and shipped, only 1 showed up even though the packing slip says 2 in the box. Contacted customer service, still haven't heard back from them. This lack of care for the customers and poor performance is why I had quit before. Starting to believe choosing to back them by becoming a lifetime subscriber was a poor choice.

Wilderness survival kit.
Not clear that a hat was not included with the Mosquito net; no instructions were included as to how to use some of the tools; no instructions as to how to properly rig the back pack; the box arrived severely damaged.

I recently ordered 2 "Conan" shirts. They arrived in time for Christmas and were perfect. I gave 1 to my Marine dad. You would have thought i gave him keys to the city. (he really dug the shirt)
