Review of SARA SFF R412M
The delivery of the module was in a reasonable timeframe but the quality of u-blox radio module is bad. In most cases it doesn't succeed to connect with the mobile network, is often unresponsive and doesn't execute the AT commands as documented, although R412M is clearly stated to support them.
I understood from the support team this is due to the firmware of u-blox but nevertheless devices with such bad quality shouldn't be sold by SODAQ before proper quality verification has been done.
A commercial initiative should be taken to provide customers having bought that device with an alternative device that works properly, for example the R410M, and stop selling the R412M until u-blox has made the necessary corrections to the firmware.

Great hardware
Great hardware, working great (mbili+gprsbee+solar pannel+battery) ! Some tutorials are a bit outdated. Last version of the gprsbee.h library did not work. Managed to make everything work after some diging on the web !

Bought a SODAQ-ONE, Very nice product, hardware wise, and I like that it is open source. The activity on the open source repository and the reaction time on the contact form on the website is a bit worrying. Pull requests have not been addressed for weeks, and reaction on the contact form took days. The website looks like Sodaq is a big company with a lot of products, but the responses feel a bit like this is "something on the side".

Delivery was quick an efficient but did not include any documentation, manuals or other information you would expect with such a product. Furthermore, the documentation on the website is incredibly lax considering the complexity of the product.

No reply to emails. Unable to establish if order was shipped. Tracking number does not track. I probably lost over $100 in this transaction.
This would be a great product if it wasn't for the bad service.

Regarding the tracking number, depending on where the customer lives, the third party that we use for this sometimes offers less detailed tracking. Right after I got a responce on this side. I contacted them as requested. By the way it was not the first time I contacted them.
Most of the time I didn't even get an answer.
