Dr. Sock Soother
I'm reviewing a seller based on simply reading their advertising. I did not actually purchase anything after reading it because I was not convinced that they were on the up and up. I can't judge the quality of the product itself and whether it's worth the price; readers will have to decide that based on their own impressions.
The seller is Dr. Sock Soothers. They sell compression socks. They advertised a "50% Off Discount" sale price, but when you read the website copy you find out you will be charged for at least three pairs, (total price over $39.00) and you are not told what the original price of one pair is. You must purchase at least the 3. On top of that, shipping is an extra $3.95. Worst of all, they prefill the order form with the biggest order possible and a protection plan costing $14.95. If you don't see they've done that, you'll be on the hook for more than $121.00! That doesn't include any sales tax your state charges, either. Do yourself a favor and find a company that will be transparent about what they're charging you.
