I have tried several Dutch lessons from different providers, and I can say that I have a very good experience with Koen as the teacher, and SociaTaal! He takes time in explaining concepts and answering our questions. Most of all, he provides a safe space where learners do not feel bad about making mistakes, which is very important in the learning process. The group has a max of 6 learners, so you are guaranteed to participate and practice speaking during the lesson. The platform SociaTaal uses for homework and lessons are also user-friendly, which does not make it dreading to use it!

I am continuing the next level and signing up for the next course, as I see improvement in myself from joining SociaTaal!

I had an great experience learning Dutch online with SocialTaal. I've taken levels 1 - 3 over the course of a year and find Keon an extremely patient and kind teacher. The weekly online sessions are reserved for conversation and questions, whilst the majority of the grammar and vocabulary is focused on the homework, allowing more time in the lessons for valuable conversation skills with Dutch native speakers. If you want to learn efficiently, confidently and practically whilst also feeling comfortably and have fun, this is for you!

One of the best Dutch courses out there! Couldn't recommend them enough

Was really nice to learn Dutch with Societaal, all the materials are structured and easy to follow. I really recommend it to everyone.

We have a family private course with SociaTaal. We really enjoy and program and see a lot of progress in our learning Dutch experience. Koen has very flexible approach to students giving personal attention to the pace and learning needs. We like the platform a lot, it is easy to use (from computer and phone) and it provides a lot of additional materials to learn before and after the lesson. We enjoy the time with teacher which is fun and good learning challenge for us to speak with confidence in Dutch languge.

I’ve completed two modules and definitely plan to continue. The course has a super engaging approach: doing your homework before each lesson really helps you get the most out of the class. The small group size allows for personal attention, with a strong focus on speaking and practicing what you’ve learned. The materials and exercises are fun and diverse, which keeps things interesting and effective.

Amazing courses, I attended level 2-4, all great times. Super nice experiences learning Dutch in a smooth and interactive way. I have much more confidence now than before I started. Koen and Lucy are really patient and clear on explaining the grammar and help us learn much easily.

Really great experience! The course material is relevant and practical. These courses really help you improve grammar and have a better Dutch pronunciation/speaking.

The material is very good and the teachers explain everything very well, while keeping the classes interactive.

The classes from SocialTaal are good in my view!, they are max 6 people and the teacher makes you interact which is good for you to memorize words and when it comes to grammar also you can reach them out of classes hours !

The dutch class with Sociataal are really efficient and enjoyable. The group is not too large (max 6) which makes it good to practice speaking and learn. I recommend it.

I highly recommend the Socia Taal school to anyone who needs to develop communicational skills and likes the order and logical way of learning, both alone in the app and in small groups. The material is very well designed to develop all language skills, with an emphasis on speaking during classes. The teachers are great and experienced, learning in this system is fun and brings satisfaction.

Very nice teacher and very interactive lessons

Sociataal is such a fun school to be a part of, the lessons are very interactive and as a very visual learner I definitely enjoy it. I learnt way more than I thought I would but with that I could improve more. Koen is a very nice and patient teacher, I am very excited to continue my Dutch learning. The vocabulary course is also very explanatory, with a lot more information on topics along with exercises and puzzles that help you memorise the vocabulary.

This is the second course I've taken with sociataal and it has been a great help in improving my level of Dutch.
The classes are dynamic, they allow us to talk and interact with the other students. The groups are small so the attention is almost personalized. The platform is easy to use and allows you to practice. The teacher is friendly, dynamic and always willing to clarify doubts.

The course went far beyond my expectations. I joined after a few months of self-study and SociaTaal helped me to gain an incredible level of confidence in a very short time.
The platform is very well structured, the classes are clear, rich in content and.. it is also fun! For all these reasons I find it particularly suitable, even for those who are very busy and work full time: as long as you complete the weekly assignment, the steps will be gradual and rewarding.

The course (A1-) has been excellent.
The exercises you do on your own are well organised and fun, you learn vocabulary while building an excellent grammar base. The classes are made to help us gain confidence to start speaking, and it really works. The people that participated in the course were committed and chill. And Koen, the teacher, is very supportive and knows what he is doing very well, creating a very welcoming and relaxing environment.
As a mum of a newborn, the way I could do the exercises on my phone made it super easy to stay engaged, as I could do little things here and there when I had a moment.

Sociataal is by far the best experience I've had with learning Dutch.

After trying three other teachers, Sociataal stands out as the best by far. I’ve made much more progress with Koen than in any previous classes.

The platform for self-study is packed with resources and is easy to use. More importantly, Koen is approachable, flexible, and makes learning genuinely enjoyable. I can’t recommend Sociataal enough!

I'm currently taking my third course with Koen and will definitely continue for the upcoming months!

Koen has really turned my dutch learning process upside down. I felt really lost and unmotivated without knowing how to improve my language skills until I found Sociataal.

I couldn't recommend this school enough. It offers a bunch of different courses, so it addapts to your lifestyle. Personally, i preffer the group courses because you have that cozy "school" feeling. You spend 2 hours per week in a zoom call with the teacher and a few other students just practising the language in the most creative and fun ways. The incredible interaction makes you really confortable to make mistakes (the only way to improve, as Koen likes to remind us). After the class, you have enough contents to keep you occupied during the week learning more and more dutch.

All in all, Koen is not only an amazing teacher but also an amazing person. He's been sensitive to my particular needs and always available to help me with any questions I have.

Sociataal is the way to go!! :)
