This bank is a disaster. This is not an incident. This is their second time that they made a mess. I don't know to call it a bank or a childish company playing with people's money. After 3 weeks they could not do a simple international transfer which ABN AMRO does in one day. Every telephone call takes ages, they don't know the answer, they are confused and uncertain and basically don't care at all about the customers. They really harm your reputation is you have to pay a customer. I truly recommend to stay away from SNS /ASN bank.

Bought all risk insurance from them. Came back home from vacation, my house was broken in and lost almost everything, the window was broken heavily with a big brick, called them to at least send someone to cover the hole temporarily, first they said: no its not emergency. I had to convince her it is an emergency I can’t sleep in a house with a broken window from a break in, she agreed but still no one came, I couldn’t sleep that night knowing my house was empty by a thieves and they might come again with that broken window. Next day call them again, some guy picked up with Moroccan- Arab accent and he even said: don’t call us anymore because if you still can stay in the house then it’s not an emergency. That’s unbelievable and cruel, I said no your collega said this is an emergency cause it’s threatened our safety and well being, called again and they promised to come but guess what? No one showed up again, people just care that they finish the job at 5 and we- their payer has to stay with this. This is really cruel and disrespectful

this bank is a joke. ignore all the marketing gimmicks about "people first".

it is capital first and they are very robotic people that receive a salary for being useless at their job (literally they get paid to say "sorry we can't help")

no wonder they are gone, as their service is terrible

Tried to open a bank account as a Non Resident. I have the right work and a residence permit. But they couldn't manage to open an account for me. Gave them all the info and documents. Went to the branch 3 times, Sent several emails. But the end result, no bank account, So where should the company I work for, send the money.

If it was possible, I would give ZERO stars.

SNS was founded in 1999 by Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson. Poor customer services mate? Your so-called company needs new vision. Nasty experience.

If you’re in the United Kingdom, please don’t support SNS in 2025! As consumers, we need to hold companies accountable for how they treat us.

I purchased a pair of shoes from SNS, and returning them has been a nightmare. I had to generate a return label myself, which cost me £2.85 to print. When I went to the drop-off points, the staff informed me that SNS had created the wrong label, as it didn’t include a waybill.

What a useless company! I’ve been calling them since Thursday on this number: +46 73 903 72 27, but SNS hasn’t been answering.

I now have to pay out of my own pocket £13.35 to return this ridiculous shoe because DHL won’t accept the useless label SNS provided me.

We, as consumers, spend our hard-earned money to build retailers’ wealth, and this is the treatment many of us receive in return—complete RUBBISH! @2025 ACCOUNTABILITY. STOP BUYING SnS 2025

Only had good experiences with SNS bank.
Picked them because they only invest in sustainable companies.

Bad company. Ordered shoes and when i send my shoes back i must pay 10,- extra to send it back! So in total i payed 15,- for shoes i can't hold....😏 next to this i send a message through the contact format and didn't here anything on this issue.

Poor costumer service.
Phone consultants are rude and unhelpful. It's hard to get information or help even in a serious situation when my debit card was missing and I was trying to get help.
Also in general they are not friendly to foreigners especially when asked about talking in English but even when speaking dutch they're not nice.

I won a raffle for pair of sneakers that cost £160 and also got charged £12! p&p
Other companies were selling these with free shipping or only charge about £5 the price that it costs.
Wont be buying again from SNS

if you are not dutch... good luck to you... you will have a problem opening an account. my German passport is not accepted as identification bc it doesn't have my bsn number printed on it. My dutch drivers license has my bsn number on it but isn't accepted either. what the hell do you want? police statement and background check? that's almost discriminating....

Horrible customer service. Spoke to three different people about my travel insurance and they all gave me different answer to my quedtions, not helpful at all. The last person I spoke to was also very rude and should not work in customer service

Had a problem with my lone and just 1 call with Astrid, and they saved me from getting in to financially problems, I would recommend sns bank to all my friends and family tho!

Simple bank with great savings account options.
I had a card who had issues being read. They sent a new one free off charge. Nice and simple service.
