Good experience, just expensive. Need to find a way to work with/without insurance companies and make the process cheaper.

My Experience - Snore Center Dallas

My experience with the Snore Center in Dallas was great. The assistant was pleasant, very personable. Dr. Schwimmer made me feel comfortable that I was in good hands. He explained the process in detail and made sure I was at ease before performing the pillar and nasal procedure. I am currently in week 6 of the pillar procedure and am already sleeping better and waking up more refreshed. I am looking forward to my results after the next 6 weeks! I wished I would have done this over 15 yrs ago! Thank you :)

Tonsillectomy

Dr. Craig Schwimmer is awesome!! The laser tonsillectomy completely cured me from tonsillitis/ tonsil stones which I had trouble with for over 10 years. This procedure was painless and life changing. Thank you so much!

First I'll say everyone was very nice …

First I'll say everyone was very nice and professional
However, I honestly felt a little confused

Dr said nose and thrust procedures were $2,500
Nurse said nose was $820 & thrust $2,500

Dr said recovery from procedures was minimal.
Nurse said nose was minimal but throat procedure would give you a sore throat.

Dr said said my insurance covered a mouth piece 100% but when it was time to finish up nothing was done regarding a mouth piece because they weren't sure if my insurance would cover it

My notes I took home said I needed a 6 week follow up but no apt was made

I've received no call about insurance approval for the mouth piece yet either.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any confusion, but insurance sure can be hard to figure out these days. Even when things are "covered" by insurance, many people now have deductibles and co-payments that can make the out of pocket cost vary from person to person and from plan to plan. So you can have a procedure that is "covered by insurance" and still end up paying for some, most, or all of it (depending on your plan deductible and other variables). And yes, we often need to get "pre-authorization" for things, even if your insurance "covers it". We wish that the system were a whole lot simpler and more straightforward, too! Just so you know, it's not unusual for "pre-authorization" to take a few weeks - but here, too, different plans are different. Rest assured that we will continue working behind the scenes with your insurance company and let you know as soon as we hear anything.

The Snoring Center offers a solution

The Snoring Center offers us a solution! Snoring, and apparently sleep apnea, has been a real problem for me the last few years. I was so glad to find both Dr. Schwimmer and The Snoring Center's nursing staff to help me navigate and discuss options. I recently had the Pillar Procedure and was just amazed at how effortless the whole thing was for me. If you are getting serious about solving your sleep problems, its worth a visit to The Snoring Center to discuss the possibilities. We all deserve a good nights sleep again!!

Friendly Office

Everyone was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The Dr. provided details on the " in office" procedure while he completed the procedure and he answered all of my questions.

I didn't want to wear a cpap mask to bed every night that my pulmonary Dr. had recommended and this office gave me a different option that I am excited to try out.

The Dr.'s nurse (I think her name was Kelli) was a hoot! She was funny and a delight to talk to!

I don't snore any more!!! THANK YOU DR. SCHWIMMER! The Ladies in the office are nice and sweet! My wife should be answering this question because "No snoring means a happy wife"! For me a "Happy Life!" You get 5 STARS, 10 if it went that high.
