I booked a bus taxi from Schiphol to The Hague for €108 — not a small amount — because I was traveling with luggage, pets, and a baby. My flight was delayed, which is nothing unusual, yet the company acted as if this was completely unexpected. I had no way to contact the driver, since I only received their first message nine minutes before pickup time. Obviously, I was still on the plane with my phone off.

By the time I landed, turned my phone on, and saw the message, it was already 15 minutes past the pickup time. The driver claimed they had waited 10 minutes (as per their so-called “policy”) and then simply left to take another order, leaving me stranded at the airport.

And here comes the scam: apparently, if you provide your flight number, the driver is required to wait for you. If you don’t, they leave after 10 minutes. But entering the flight number is optional on their website, and this condition is hidden behind a tiny icon.
Why would anyone book a costly “reliable” taxi only to have the driver leave after 10 minutes? It’s absurd, it’s dishonest, and it feels like a deliberate setup to take people’s money without providing the service. This is nothing short of a scam. Never again with this company and I will inform everybody around me conaidering booking a taxi with this company.

Booked a taxi from Schipol airport to hotel. First communication
that I received from driver was just as I stepped into arrivals after leaving the plane. I had never been in this airport before and it's massive so I was completely disorientated. When I answered my phone the driver immediately started shouting that I was late and he would only wait 5 more minutes. I was not late but having only left the plane I needed time to find my way through the airport. He shouted that I would have to pay an extra €10 per ten minutes waiting time. Then he kept repeating 'will you pay, will you pay'. I eventually got him to say where we could meet but I had no clue where it was so hung up to try to find my way. Within a minute or two he was on the phone again shouting that I was late and would I pay extra. I was so distraut by then I said no and hung up. I eventually worked out that it actually very easy to get a train to Central Station and then an Uber to the hotel. If only I'd known this I would have saved a wasted payment to this scamming company (no refund just like others who were scammed) and also a lot of stress at the airport. Avoid them at all costs.

Ordered a Taxi and was confirmed and paid with credit card, they then cancelled because there were "no drivers available", (yet it was a day out) charged my credit card with one amount and then sent a refund through for less. Scammers!

NEVER book a taxi via Sneleentaxi, or at least not from an airport!

The taxi driver was late and vague about where to meet him, then left before the 10-minute time window was over. It was a 150 euro trip, so I'm pretty sure the driver purposefully was late & vague so that he could make his money without having to actually transport us.

According to Sneleentaxi policy, they should refund the full amount as we were there within a 10-minute window (which we can prove), but despite 2 emails and 30 minutes waiting for customer service line, they are refusing to refund.

We had a confirmed pickup scheduled for 10:00 a.m., yet when we exited the departure area at 10:05 a.m., there was no driver in sight. To make matters worse, we were later informed that the driver had allegedly waited for 15 minutes and then left. This claim was completely false and unacceptable — if the driver had truly arrived early and waited 15 minutes, they would have left before the scheduled time, which makes absolutely no sense. What’s even more frustrating is that no one made any effort to contact us — no phone call, no message, nothing. This lack of communication left us stranded and scrambling to arrange alternative transportation, causing significant inconvenience and stress. If your company wants to be seen as professional and reliable, you must take responsibility for this kind of failure.

Left us at the airport, we landed, communicated with the driver we were collecting our luggage, from the plane landing to receiving our luggage this took around 25/30 minutes. The taxi driver did not wait, we tried to call, text, they ignored these messages. They left us stranded and then claimed we were at fault, the driver actually turned his phone off. Apparently we should have been off the plane and into the taxi within 10 minutes of it landing which is physically impossible but that’s acceptable according to customer support who have refused to refund our money and gave a terrible solution of a €6 credit .. for a company I will NEVER use again. Please, just use Uber or the airport taxis as this company is not worth the hassle and are very clearly scamming people of their money. We are not the first they have done this to.
They claim to have “sufficient” evidence to support their driver contacted us numerous times, which is not true at all. We however have significant evidence of numerous calls and further texts via the app of contact. I believe the good reviews on this site must be from people paid to write these, as the attitude we have received and lack of service is atrocious. We have thankfully got protection via the card we have paid on and will be completing a chargeback which I would urge anyone who has been scammed by these people does and I will be providing all evidence and correspondence to our card issuer.

Yes Taxi was on time driver was very polite and helpful

We were left at the airport with my mother at 12.30 at night. Our flight was delayed which I told the taxi driver. I paid in advance and told them of the flight we were on but because I did not provide a flight number which they do not require they said he could leave after 10 mins. We arrived at 11 minutes and he had gone! No refund, just left at the airport at night. Truely terrible business. If I would not have paid then he would have waited for his fee!!

The taxi driver came on time, drove perfectly and was very nice.

I have spent hours with their customer service to get my 200 euros back for the service which was not provided. They sent me 37 euros of coupon as compensation. No thanks. Keep the Money.

For future customers, please don't waste your money with sleazytaxi. They will take your money and run.

Date of landing 11th Aug 6:30pm , meeting time driver 7:30 pm. Horrible experience, taxi driver called as soon as we landed and then kept on following us way before the mentioned meeting time. 4 minutes before meeting time he calls again and says take your time and let me know when you are out. When we came out he ghosted us and set his phone not reachable. Snel taxi support number was out of order, their chat function was disabled, only option left was WhatsApp and they never replied for support for the whole time. One day later they sent a message telling me their driver was present but we did not come. But the driver had never given his location neither his taxi number. Only way to reach was his f** mobile which is also today after 24 hours not reachable. Spam company first and last experience

If I had the option to give 0 stars I would. If you’re looking for a reliable taxi for your wedding or special event or even just regular occassion, DO NOT book with sneleentaxi.nl. I wish I had read a review like this before booking.

For my wedding night, I booked a taxi through their website and had to pay €120 upfront — already unusual for a taxi, but I went ahead. In the booking form’s comment box, I wrote very clear instructions on how the driver could drive all the way to our venue and pick us up at 01:05, so we wouldn’t have to walk through the forest to the main road in the middle of the night with the rest of the guest and could be picked up right at the taxi pick up spot of the venue.

On the night, the driver ignored these instructions completely. He called me a couple of times but since it was my wedding night i didn’t have my phone in my pocket, I called back a couple of times within a few minutes, but there was no answer, and he later sent “proof” of being there to sneleentaxi.nl — at the pedestrian entrance, not where I had instructed. Later, their employee told me drivers aren’t obligated to read the instructions. Seriously? Then what is the comment box even for? Absolutely RIDICULOUS!

They refused a refund and instead offered a laughable €18 credit to use on a future booking. As if I would ever use them again. This was incredibly frustrating to deal with on my wedding day.

A friend who had booked them for their wedding the following week cancelled immediately after hearing my experience.

Absolute scam, waste of money, and zero customer care. Don’t waste your time or your money, especially not on an important day.

Clear communication, polite behavior of the driver. However, I sometimes felt that we were driving too fast.

All worked out well!! I received a message on my phone before scheduled time, vehicle was there 5 mins before, the driver was great!! So yes, well done and thanks!!

Absolute nightmare. Taxi driver hounding us as soon as we landed. We then sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes. By the time we were in the baggage hall he was calling on the phone being rude saying we would need to pay another 80 euros for what was initially a 70 euro fee. I paid the additional insurance for a registered driver and got this service. He eventually left. Customer service basically said because he has had to wait then he can charge me the full fee. Now stuck at the airport. Do yourself a favour and avoid this business as they are criminals. There is no security using them. I have been fleeced and they have offered zero support.

Order a taxi from Schiphol airport. Paid extra to have a TX certified driver.
When arrived to the airport, waited half an hour for the driver only to discover that this was his first ride, and he was waiting for me in the departures area of the airport (not the arrivals) which requires a taxi to get to him.
I will never book with this company again.

This is pure fraud!
This is a complete scam!! I'm going to report it to the police. I paid €180 to pick up my wedding guests at Schiphol Airport. The driver was supposed to be at the exit, but he stayed in the car. After contacting my guests, who were still waiting at customs, he simply left and was no longer reachable. Snel Taxi replied that it was all within their terms and conditions.

I booked the taxi from Schipol to Utrecht, I paid in full, the driver was very very arrogant, he posted me as no show while I was waiting for him, the customer support did not help me at all , I was telling them that the driver is not picking up phone, but they choose to believe th driver and my money went down the drain. I don't recommend this taxi service at all, I will keep on using Utrecht Taxi centrale
