Pathetic experience

bruthas... bruthas..... why the f can i acces SMULE by web browser, so i can use my good pc microphone? and webcam.. oh wait ... I CANT.. i can fing just use my phone.. lame

Even just two years ago, I would have rated this 5 stars. But this app and company have taken a major turn for the worse. Terrible updates that actively make the experience worse, insane payment schemes that are a total scam, a plain refusal to fix bugs that have been persisting for almost a decade...

The support team, when not AI generating responses, send incredibly unprofessional, passive-aggressive, and borderline rude replies. I had nothing but good experiences with Smule support, which I contacted frequently for the 10+ years I've been singing on Smule, but as of the last couple of years, the quality has dropped severely. What is even going on over there anymore?

This app was once great, amazing even, but now it's a shell of itself and a total disappointment. I only use it at this point because there's nothing better and it's where all my friends are.

I have been on Smule for a year and pay $10 monthly for their singing feature. Lately however when I attempt to post a song I sing to Facebook or Instagram, Smule denies followers to hear the song. I will cancel service!!

They charged me 150 dollars over 15 weeks despite me never remembering subscribing to or using the app. I attempted to get refunds through Apple Support but they didn't give me any

Just had my account suspended after renew VIp.No explanation except read guidelines..Avoid like plague..asked for refund unlikely these will oblige

If any one else needs to ask about bans..Write and ask fotpr a full breakdown of why don't accept the look at terms and conditions paste mail you get..just to add if your account is suspended or frozen they do not refund.

I used to enjoy singing on Smule, but my experience turned into a nightmare. I became the target of organized harassment: fake accounts were created just to attack me, impersonate me, and spread lies about me. These bullies even tried to isolate me by influencing others not to sing with me.

I reported many times, but Smule only sends copy-paste replies and takes no real action. Meanwhile, the bullies continue freely, while victims like me are silenced. It feels like Smule protects abusers more than real users.

After years of patience, I realized Smule is not a safe community—it’s a toxic place where professional bullies can thrive, while the company looks away.

If you value your mental health and safety, stay away from Smule. This app is dangerous.

Took my money for membership, took my money for a gold verified badge and then suspended my account without any explanation given yet again.

Confidence tricksters.

Pathetic customer service, even with protecting users from bullying and abuse, what exactly are you charging so much for if your that greedy you cant even allocate sufficient service staff. Zero safety on this app. Takes days for response and the response is unrelated to the email sent.

Smule has literally gone down hill big time. Keep changing everything so can find your favourite enhancement any longer, and gone completely woke. I cancelled it and won’t be returning. Not to mention weirdo’s who are not in your friends list being able to message and stalk you, they just keep opening another account to continue stalking and harassing. I only started this app to keep my vocals up to scratch whilst not gigging. I’ll just stick with the studio.

Smule is the MOST AMAZING singing app to improve your singing and self-confidence. I have been on the app since April 2023, as I love singing. In December 2023, I subscribed to VIP for £39.99 per year, where you can access all features of the app. With VIP, you can send invites to friends on the app, sing solos, and join other ppl in songs. It's such a great and friendly community of people who love music as much as you do. I have made great friends on the app. And all your private account details are kept private from scammers.

I am singing songs I never thought I could sing with great sound effects to make you sound better.

The only cons of Smule is, there's a lot of fake profiles and people thinking its a dating app NOT singing app.

My husband had an affair with a woman on this app she baited him. And he fell for it. He was as bad, neither of them have integrity or a moral compass. She was miles away in America while he's in the UK. He was old enough and ugly enough to know better. She used to tell him things he wanted to hear. Handsome. Fantastic voice. There were late night phone calls regularly . Photos being exchanged. Telegram watsapp God knows what else. I caught him red handed it had been going on for 2 years. The biggest laugh was neither of them could sing they sound like a cats choir. But the point is there are definitely predators on this app.

If there was 0 I would happily give zero for this app and customer’s service. They stole my 19.99 for a 7 days free trial even though I didn’t signed, I contacted with smule they said they are not responsible I have to contact with Apple and when I contacted with them that said their decision is final and they won’t give me my money back. Literally they tricked me in to sign up for free trial and strait away charged me 19.99 I cancelled and deleted to app straight away but they stil refused to give my money back. Today is the 3 day of free trial but I have been already charged and they will do nothing…. Please do not sign up they will only steal your money…..

I signed up to the FREE 7 day trial, immediately they took £9.99 from my bank, i cancelled the subscription immediately and requested a refund from smule, who said they can’t because apple took the money so id have to request it with apple, i did that and apple refused my refund too, i then tried to dispute it with my bank who told me i can’t because the subscription was cancelled the same day the charge was made, so now im a tenner down for an app i used ONCE. I’m an unemployed university student who CANT AFFORD to have my money stolen by scammy apps who wont refund it. SHAME

I love Smule. Good site for singing, people joining you and ect, but... it has a lot of problems.

At first, there's no 2nd authentication, which might get your account stolen.

Second, it has REALLY bad recommendetion system, if you're a newbie (new account, just started) you won't get recommendations that far, even if you're an incredible singer.
Also, you can boost your views, just yourself without buying anything, just tap on the song, and bam! You get +1 view which makes the system worse.

I wanted also to mention that the app is big, big enough to unlock features for Solo, Duet, Groups and ect. Locking those feature really restricting other people, who are trying to get famous at the app.

So... I'll leave it like that, we'll see what will be in the future.

I ordered Smule because I bought a karaoke machine. I can not use Smule on my device and asked for a refund because it is useless to me. They will not refund the $50

I am not happy. The Smule used to be for free but recently almost everything costs. I have to pay for a week just to record my solos or open the songs and I must cancel otherwise the Smule would charge me to renew. All of these was free of charge years ago... I am very very disappointed. It is also extremly expensive.

I absolutely love smule there is no other app like it to sing The quality it's gives us in studio effects its our 5 mins of doing what we love most singing and customer service are fab..THR BEST EVER SINGING APP OUT THERE enjoy every min of this terrific singing platform. All my friends are there for a year its been the best thing for my mental health 5 stars to the most amazing singers app out there everyone is real unlike some this is the only app u will sing find friends and everyone loves one another big love all around it

I’ve been using Smule since 2016. I am very grateful for this app because I met my husband on it. We’ve been together for eight years. Having said that, Smule has to better the sound quality for the songs. It’s seems to be invested on filters and useless stuff and the sound quality is pretty awful. I always use Studio and it sounds different for different songs using the same settings. There are also other issues I wish they would help but it seems impossible to get them to listen.
