I've been using Smoobu for years and generally have had a good experience, but a few key issues really frustrate me!
They blocked my account due to an unpaid invoice, and I was only informed through an email that got lost in the flood of other Smoobu emails, which I usually just archive. There should be a better system in place for such critical matters—like contacting me from a different email or making a phone call, especially after three years of cooperation. It's mind-blowing that this wasn't handled better.
Configuring different accounts for my employees has always been a struggle. Despite setting all the permissions, it seems only simple additional accounts can be created, which doesn’t meet my needs.
The app sometimes runs slowly, and it logs me out way too often.
The invoice keeps increasing, which isn’t something you expect for a long-term partner.
There was a huge SPAM issue where emails were being sent to our guests! That was a major problem.
And the Inbox is useless. It's too hard to make it any use of.
Other than these points, the app and support are generally great, but these issues are too important to overlook.
Super easy to use tool and a great team behind it. Dor a host of one apartment i found a really value for money solution.

We have been cooperating with Smoobu since 2019 and have worked without any problems for many years. We manage over 50 apartments and villas with this channel manager. However, recently, we encountered a serious issue twice where massive phishing messages were sent to all of our guests, requesting them to pay again for reservations that had already been paid for. This caused significant confusion and distress among our guests. We hope the company addresses this security vulnerability promptly to prevent any future occurrences.
The software is great and works well but when you need a quick service or send a help ticket. The service is shockingly bad, I have tried to call, they don't answer, leave a voicemail they do not answer, send a ticket get vague replies back. The code to one of my properties has taken a month to sort out. I said I want to be put through to the complaints department they just don't resolve the issues. Service is shockingly bad!
Much better than expectations, I could integrate apps and also my website pretty easily so I could push for (no commission) direct bookings! Also impressed by the channel manager that really syncs LIVE!!!!

Terrible experience. I tested their platform for free test period for a few days and decided not to work with them but with another platform that for me was better.
They started to invoice me and I mailed them I didn't want to continue and I got no response
After that they invoiced me again. Because first invoice wasn't paid they blocked my account so I could close it but keep on invoicing me and threat even with a dept collector.
All my mail are not responed.
I just tested thir platform for 2 days ...
Terrible.
Be careful with this service. I turned off the paid subscription and stopped using it, but after half a year they decided to withdraw money from my card for half a year while I didn’t use them.
If you are in doubt about starting work with Smooby, there is no doubt. I have been using the program not long ago, but I was very surprised by its accessibility and ease. You don't need to open other sites and look at information, you have everything at your fingertips in Smooby . Generating calendars with other sites works at a high level. Other boards that Smooby offers, for example for organizing cleaning, are also great. Smooby has everything under control And the support service, especially Javier- best of the best

The programme is well structured, very intuitive and easy to use. I built my homepage with Smoobu quickly and despite the fact that there are no different graphics or layout options, the site is impressive and loads easily on all devices. Absolutely terrible, I am trying to contact them to resolve multiple issues and they are asking me to book an appointment to discuss!. I need these issues resolving immediately. not next week! A complete rip off, VRBO will not work with them... I think that explains a lot!
I have been working with Smoobu for the past 3 year. There are several reasons for me to stick with smoobu. Most important one is their support. If you need any help setting up or even post setup support Smoobu is always quick with an answer or solution. Also in the 3 years I have seen the tool develop and grow. Features that weren't available are here now.
If you need a simple management tool for your vacation rental I do recommend Smoobu.
Be careful before implementing Smoobu. For us, it resulted in complete chaos, angry clients, loss of AirBnB superhost status and of business / revenues. Software is not ready yet and full of gaps, without warning for customers. Below a few examples we faced: 1- Smoobu does not import manual booking and does not let you know. As a result, it generated double bookings upon implementation, which took hours to solve on our ends and led to some deep client insatisfaction. 2- Does not synchronise with expedia / vrbo. The objective of a channel manager is to synchronise across multiple platforms. A huge miss that there are missing synchronisation with one of the leading platforms. Only calendar can synchronise. Deep regrets overall, especially as the software is not cheap. I am currently looking to switch to a competitor.
Smoobu is an amazing software. It's very easy to use and set up, they have so many helpful blogs & videos to guide you. The customer service is fantastic - the response times are quick and they've almost always managed to solve my issues/ answer my questions. The synchronisation is quick and therefore no need to worry about double bookings. It's connects with may different external softwares - pricelabs, Airbnb, booking.com, cleaning apps, your own website etc. And works effortlessly. It saves me tonnes of time and has never let me down. The price is great too for a starting business. However it is a little simplistic if you grow into a large company with multiple properties.

"All" the representatives of Smoobu are unhelpful and thier emails are both pleasant and patronizing. Although I've been using Smoobu for two years, I find it to be a mediocre platform. Recently, I requested to switch from a yearly to a monthly subscription, but they informed me that since I had missed my renewal date, it was not possible. Consequently, I canceled all six of my property subscriptions. Unfortunately, Smoobu seems indifferent to losing my business.
Does not support properties in different countries and different currency. If you plan to grow, stay away from Smoobu. No understanding of the issue from the Smoobu team either even after years as a customer.
