these people f**king scammed me

these people f**king scammed me.

the email that contacted me from the site started with smokelesstobacco20, rather than smokescanada - that struck me as odd.

they also took my payment by texting me, and incessantly harassed me when my e-transfer did not go through for 2 days when my credit union is undergoing a merger and they were moving slowly at the time. they asked me to pay again at the time - even after showing them the pending transfer in my bank. when i told them i did not have enough money to do that, they were quite rude in response. the payment did not go to a business name, it went to someone named Steve Lucas.

they took my $276 quite happily, after a slew of texts back and forth + multiple emails confirming that my transfer had gone through, and told me my order would be delivered August 12th.

i was not pleased to learn my order had been shipped from within the US, considering that they are presenting themselves as a Canadian company. their excuse was that 'one of the products i ordered is/was out of stock in their Canadian warehouse,' and instead of contacting me, they opted to send my order from another country - if these supposed warehouses even exist.

i waited approximately 2-4 weeks before contacting them after the expected delivery date. after numerous emails and finally, only receiving a response once i threatened to report them for fraud, they told me my package could only be delivered if i paid a $500 'refundable customs fee.'
it took a quick 20-second google search to learn that no such thing exists and no reputable company would ask for this. i already knew this as someone who owns a small business - but is also on disability. i don't have a lot of money.

when i insisted on paying with paypal, which has buyer protection, rather than e-transfer as they were insisting, they ghosted me. my bank is unable to recover the funds, and they are ignoring me.

it is not possible to make an account on their website, nor review products, or comment on their blogs.

they also use a suspicious 'shipping service,' called gxcargodelivery, and after some digging i discovered that that particular website has only existed since May of 2025. everything about them is shady - they are waiting to rip you off.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
