SCAM COMPANY!! Do not buy from them you will not get what you paid for and won’t get your money back

Had exactly the same experience with a swimming costume I bought from a company calling itself Amara London. I sadly spotted it on Facebook which seems to be an excellent platform for these companies. The item arrived, was nothing like the photo, was mis-sized and poor quality. I tried complaining and demanded a full refund. The company tried everything to dissuade me so being a tenacious person, I went through the whole process of returning it to China - an EXTREMELY complicated and long-winded process. Tracking it, I found it was stuck at Chinese customs and having researched the delivery address in China via Google earth, it was a room next to an elevator in an old warehouse. In other words, IT DID NOT EXIST. 6 MONTHS LATER, I had a parcel sent from Chinese customs. You guessed it, IT WAS THE SWIMMING COSTUME. I had successfully claimed back my money via "Chargeback" on my credit card as I had all the evidence I had tried for a refund on a product with no success AND had tried returning the item to China. Lesson learned. I can now spot these companies selling on social media and would advise anyone who thinks they've spotted a bargain, DO NOT GO THERE.

Awful! Paid £54 for 2 items and never received them. Numerous emails requesting a refund to no avail

I just got my mens XL merino wool long sleeve t.no label,no washing instruction label.it was so rediculously small I gave it to my wife.it fits her perfectly.she's 130 lbs. and is 5'5".i'm 6',210lbs.I'm not even going to waste my time trying to return it. judging by the reviews,it won't work anyway.avoid this sham company .update: I got 2 merino t shirts today.the quality of these garments is truly appalling.no labels,single stitching everywhere.almost transparent.

Horrendous, wish I’d checked out reviews first. Deceives you into thinking a London based store as more expensive than Primark/Shein, but when items arrive, after weeks waiting, the quality is very, very poor. Seems like this company keeps slightly changing its name as well. Definitely stay away!

Do not buy from Smith Fashion. They did not send the items I ordered and refused to send me a refund. They are scammers.

I ordered 2 sweaters 2xl
They took 2 weeks to arrive
Both were small at best with no labels inside
Emailed the company who said it was my fault indicating the wrong size at checkout, however I have a copy of the original order confirming I ordered 2x xl
I was offered a partial refund of 30% which I declined stating I wanted a full refund, 3 days later no response
It appears the company is constantly changing names obviously with numerous amounts of negative feedback
Steer clear of this company

I will reiterate everything that these other people have said. Avoid this company at all costs. For those who have been scammed, initiate a chargeback with your bank. Send the
Proof that you’ve been scammed (emails, receipts etc.) and you will get your money back. I’ve also reported these to our Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (Ireland) and will be following up with this. Not right that they are getting away with this

I would put zero stars if I could. Horrible company and horrible clothing. Sizes are inconsistent and size very small. Cheap and nasty items. Very expensive to return and then they offer you a partial refund and then block you so you never get the refund and are left with an item that’s unwearable as it’s too small and awful.

Absolute scam don't buy from, cheap clothing from china, have to pay for return to china, say they have refunded you then block you, scam avoid!!!

Products don’t come from London, as the website would make you believe. Instead it’s all cheap stuff from China which doesn’t look like the pictures. The sizing was very inconsistent and I emailed to start returns for all but 1 piece out of the entire order (spent a few hundred pounds). The company talked me round (they were VERY persistent) from returning anything and offered me a 50% refund. The cost of the return would have to be made my me and because it was going to China, the offer of a 50% refund seemed decent (I was still out of pocket by a bit but at least I could keep the clothes and pass them on to others/no hassle of sending back).
I have had to chase for this refund several times, which keeps getting promised but I fear this is not correct. My email address has now been blocked so I can’t contact them any further and I’m still without the refund. I’m stuck with horrible clothes that are ill fitting/don’t fit, overpriced and a few hundred pounds out of pocket.
Awful company, very unprofessional and even worse clothes. Stay well away!

Keep well away from this company, took weeks to get the dress as it came from China not the UK. They sent the wrong size and its been a complete nightmare trying to return it, cost is on the customer to return. Then surprise surprise they haven't any record of the return! Please keep away

They are also advertising under the name novaelondon!
It cannot be a coincedence that they have the exact same advert - pink dress at a wedding... the exact same website (other than name change), the exact same returns policy to China.
Fraudulent people. Avoid at all costs

Everything about their website, from the name to photos of union jacks and London street scene, you would think it would be based in London. It is not until you finally receive your item and want to return it that you find out it is based in China!! Cheap, badly made item and company refusing to refund despite me returning it to the senders address on the packaging! AVOID ordering anything from them! Definitely NOT hassle free returns as they advertise!!

Terrible.
No other words.
The goods didn’t arrive until 3 weeks later because (as I later found out), it was coming from China.
The wedding that I wanted the dress for happened a week before.
Dress itself was very, very poor quality so I couldn’t have worn it anyway.
They refused a return (unless I paid shipping back to China)
They offered 20% refund as an alternative to shipping.
This company is a scam. Not London based and items are nothing like pictures.
I’m continuing to fight them and will go to citizens advice.
Avoid.

Not received goods in 5-10 days as per their advertisement but horrified to learn NOT a London based company at all. Reading other poor reviews and experiences I contacted Tesco Bank as I paid with my credit card. Only asked for advice but they pointed me in the direction of their ‘charge back service’. Hope this may help others in this situation. Companies like this need closing down!!!

Took ages to arrive from China not London- possibly the worst pieces of clothing I have ever come across- terrible cheap fabrics, couldn’t fit on any human form bust line slightly below neck. When I asked for a refund and return policy - there is no return policy or refund!
I have wasted money and will NEVER buy online again which is a shame for genuine sellers - It is a complete SCAM

Complete SCAM - AVOID! They do not have a store in London and all goods are drop-shipped from China. I ordered two M65 style jackets after seeing numerous ads on Facebook etc. When the goods finally showed up the quality was very poor and bore no resemblance to the photos on the site. Trying to return the goods was even harder, their customer service AI only agreeing to refund my money in full if I returned the items to China. They then gave me incorrect address information and I wasted 20 quid posting them bank. Eventually I contacted my bank and advised them of this scam. I've also seen adverts for other sites with the same photos so buyer beware. It's taken me 3 months to get my money back.

If I could give smith and co 0 stars I would. I wish I'd check trust pilot before I ordered. What they don't tell you is their 'warehouse' is in china, so it took far longer than anticipated for the order to arrive. I placed the order on 30/6, it arrived 10/7. The item wasn't of the quality I was expecting. I have been trying to arrange a return and refund for 7 days, I still don't have the information to return the item. I have been offered a 20% refund, a 30% refund. And all this after already being offered a full refund. Which is the very least I expect when I now have to return the item to china! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
