Chinese crap, unreturnable

The quality of the jacket I ordered was comparable to a grocery store Walmart costume. And it smelled terrible! When I tried to return it, they insisted I had to ship it to China at my expense, which would have cost over $100.00. Total scam.

Smith-New York is a SCAM

The company, Chinese, sent me the wrong size of men’s shoes that I was going to gift to son. Customer Service is ignoring me!!! The shoes were CHEAP too, nowhere near matching the pics that store displayed. TOTAL SCAM. I want to claw back my money.

Total garbage

Total garbage. Would rate “zero” stars if possible. How is this company allowed to perpetrate this level of deception? I ordered 2 sweaters - both cheap, badly made, nothing like the lovely photos they post. Can’t believe I fell for this one.

Chinese Fraudsters - NOT from New York - not a going out of business sale!

Chinese fraud company - junk products - NOT an older couple “going out of business “.
I ordered a $300+ coat for $54 with free shipping. I got tons of emails regarding the progress of my order - looked pretty professional until it became clear it was being shipped from China - not New York. Coat finally arrived. I normally wear a size large but ordered this one as XL. It was so small I had difficulty getting it on and could not zip it up.
Here’s where it gets extra good: I emailed them asking how to get a refund. No problem. Just ship it back to China.
Quality of coat was NOT a $300+ coat - wasn’t even a $54 coat.
After my order, they kept sending literature about new products.
I am embarrassed - I hope this helps you NOT buy from these folks

Total scam

Total scam. Product very poor quality, nothing like the picture. Cost of return to China is more than the product - and I doubt they would refund anyway. Opened up as Taylor Classic

Do not buy from these frauds. Their advertisement is bs. They give hours for their showroom -there is no showroom. The show the owners- elderly Caucasian couple…they are not..the owners are Chinese. The pictures of products have little resemblance to the crap the send…

Do Not Buy from this company!

The photo of the jacket looked good. The ad said it was marked down from $250 to $50. “Final Sale!” Red flag? Of course but I bit. The jacket looked and felt cheap in every way. And they sent the wrong size. They said I could ship it back at my expense (to China) or take a 5% credit—$2.50. I took (and received) the credit. Don’t buy from Smith-China York.

Total scam

Total scam. They are in China, not New York. The coat was not even close to being the correct size. Return shipping was not worth it. PayPal rejected my claim saying what I got was not materially different from what I ordered. I have no idea how they determined this. One of the worst purchases I have ever made.

Smith Mew York is a Scam

As all the reviews stated, the company is a scam selling substandard goods from China. Not a New York company but chinese. Never heard back from customer service. I disputed the charge with my cc company. I've learned my lesson. Check the reviews before you buy.

Totally a scam company by selling the…

Totally a scam company by selling the worst quality products at supposedly bargain prices. Received a jacket that was marked down from $350.00 to $55.00. Just received it and it was made of plastic and fake material. Shipping it back to China is more costly than your funds returned. Someone has make public their scam on Facebook and Instagram.

Toilet Tissue in multiple sizes and colors

Don’t be fooled. This is a complete sham and the product is absolute junk. Their marketing is BS and AI generated and the theme is a complete lie.
Since it will cost $66 to return this $2 item to “Our Warehouse” in Guangzhou China, instead I will cut it up into strips and use it to wipe my ass. It has the same value as Toilet Tissue.

Chinese drop-ship scam

Chinese drop-ship scam. Posing as a going-out-of-business New York City clothing store, complete with stock photo of senior white American couple on a Long Island beach, the supposed owners who are retiring and closing the store. This a China-based operation, with a fake American front. The clothes aren't worth half of the 80% discounted price. Complete crap, not even matching the photos of the clothes, materials off, colors off, details off. Return policy is fake, since practically impossible. Asked for return form and address. First response asks for extensive photos and 'evidence', next response, about two weeks later, includes the return address in China and a reminder that the return has to be processed within 30 days of delivery. In the return instructions, SNY points out that between shipping cost and shipping time, the return is so onerous that most customers opt for a further 5% discount instead. The business is organized to avoid returns at all cost.

Complete junk. This company is a complete scam

This company is a complete scam. Their products are VERY cheaply made in china, the images shown on line are not remotely like the ones shipped. Their return policy is that you must return the item TO CHINA, so that will cost more than the item cost - and they tell you this. They offer to refund 5%, along with a 20% coupon for more of their crap. I took it straight to donate at DAV, I doubt anyone will even take it from there. They should be prosecuted for this scam

Sent a hideous and cheap article of clothing that looked nothing like what was advertised on line. Total scam - if you try and send it back it costs almost as much as the article of clothing. They offer a 5% return and an additional 10% discount on more clothes. Ha, really? A whole $2.45? They need to be shut down. China scam ring, not a real store. Total crap. They need to be fined and sent to prision.
