Smartypants charged my acct without my approval

I was placing a grocery order on line. A message popped up asking if I wanted to save $20 on my order. I assumed it was from the grocery store. I noticed a $1 pending fee on my debit card the next day. A week later my credit card company contacted me about possible fraud. Smartypants had charged $19.99 for a monthly service fee to my account. I didn't know anything about this company and did not authorize it to withdraw $19.99 for finding coupons and codes. The credit card company acted quickly. Smartypants immediately reimbursed my account. Had the credit card company had not noticed me I may not have even noticed the charge. Lesson learned. Always check your monthly statements for suspicious activity.
